got the race downloaded everyone. PM me your email ID for the torrent file.

I wish I could download the Moto3 and Moto2, but I saw them already live not interested in a repeat viewing like MotoGP.

Nope, it's not. Rossi commented that when he was pushed out the first thing he thought of is how deep is the gravel trap,@ and that's when he decided to pin the throttle to run out of the area at whatever speed he was. Just like motorists do hydroplaning on lakes.
The other thing to take the gravel route is-you can't take any sort of advantage by cutting the track. Rossi was in front when the impact happened and there was no advantage taken.
Crash.net has the exact statement from race direction.

Marquez should be issued a formal warning by Dorna for his 'win it or bin it' approach. It's not correct. A rider of his stature shouldn't show such behaviour.
First, he did it with Lorenzo & today with Rossi. He could have ruined the entire weekend for VR46. The last time I saw such rash riding between champions was maybe between Rossi & Biaggi back in 2004-05.

What can I say that you guys haven't said already! what a race... wow.. Marquez should understand that there's this one rider who won't entertain his bin-it approach. I thought he learned his lesson in Argentina, but probably didn't. And shame on Livio Suppo, he's acting like a baby by saying that Rossi cut the corner.. what an...

Race Direction has done good to clear the air.. simple.

I found myself cheering Marquez on, and hoping he would overtake Rossi once I saw how much he had caught up to Rossi in the final lap.

That was truly some badass racing.

Marquez is an Alien Animal. Wow that was aggressive.

Marquez intentionally came in hot and Rossi intentionally went in through the gravel trap.

              There's no out-thinking Valentino Rossi.

Marquez may be superb but he's still an amateur when it comes to going head-to-head with VR.

MM93 has a LOT to learn when it comes to battling with VR46.

That's what a 14 year head start will give you.

I was really surprised to hear MM convinced that he had the inside line and not VR.

              Almost borderline delusional.

Brilliant race! We'll definitely see a LOT more of this in the years to come.

If that Ayrton Senna's quote is to support Marquez's move then fine, but then he and HRC needs to be graceful in defeat and not ***** about the way Rossi saved his race. He didn't have anywhere else to go other than what he did. If Rossi had continued on his line, then either one or both might not have finished the race thanks to Marquez's unrealistic belief that it was only his corner to take.

Ayrton Senna's quote is super impressive but then be graceful when you're defeated. That's for HRC and especially Livio Suppo. He was with Casey Stoner earlier. I won't be surprised why he is such a whinner!! Enough Said.

                  • Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates

Well, that is so nice to know people think he deliberately cut the corner. I actually felt it was natural. But the doctor never seems to lack improvisation. I'm sure he's smart enough to be thinking while going into the corner saying to himself - "if he even thinks about taking the chance and touches me, I'm going straight through for the finish line".

There is no denying he might have even thought of it earlier , before the race. The reason why this can be doubted is that he was so much in control while cutting through as if he was ready for it. But like Argentina, when Rossi know's he is strong enough for the win, he is focused and ready for anything and everything brought at him. There have not been too many flukes in Rossi's carrier when he won a race. And that's the reason he's usually not disappointed with his results. He knows what's his potential and where he can finish and he fights to achieve it, whether it's 1st, 5th or 10th place.

But for those who believe it was a deliberate move - he really outwitted the Spaniard, didn't he?

Marc or in fact anyone can just not take enough of Rossi, he's always got an ace up his sleeve. Another lesson for me to Rossi's competitors - Racing is not about just being fast on the bike, you have to be thinking ahead of your competitors too. This hard fact has pissed of the likes of Stoner, but Marc is a tough nut. I just wish he doesn't spoil his mood and comes back all guns blazing next race. Will give us an opportunity to see what new can Rossi come up with.

                      This part is the highlight.

Without saying much more about it, I feel it was just a spontaneous reaction from Rossi more than anything to save his race. This is part of his unbelievable and natural race craft. No body in this world, nobody would deliberately run off track especially on gravel for any advantage whatsoever, that too on final two corners in a last lap. It's too risky to execute even with a plan! That's what I feel at least. Corskscrew is different, as far as I remember it has always been comparatively more tarmarc-ed. And somehow I wonder the intent behind designing such "interesting" corners.. if you know what I mean

We are blessed people, that we are witnessing such epicness. I'm sure my neighbors can hear me when I'm shouting at the tv screen. My hands went numb for few seconds that I clapped so hard when Rossi crossed the finish line... hahahaa

I can completely relate to it. I was also wooing and clapping when they exchanged positions. We'll blow the roof off if xbhpians watch a MotoGP race together. Just like football fans chanting for their clubs.

As others have stated, Rossi is an evolving mutant, that is something natural. You either have it or you don't, it can't be developed. Just like Marc's attitude of always going for the win, Lorenzo's attitude of pulling off consistent laptimes one after the other, you can't develop it, you either have it or you don't.
