Cal bumped into Dani and pushed him wide.

Dani stood the bike up, cut the corner, and missed riding over the gravel by a few inches.

Crutchlow was able to stay on track, and came out of the chicane in front of Dani.

Good catch, it's true. Marc intended to do the same thing... but he tried the trick on the wrong rider.

We are safe to say that with any other rival, Marc would have won.

Marc & Livio Suppo should accept defeat. They are unable to come out of their past glory & see the present situation. Yamaha's have won 7/8 races this season. It's definitely not a fluke. This says something about the Yamaha M1 bike. It's improved vastly over last season.
Past is past. Repsol Honda (MM) might hv won 13 races last season. But, that is history. Honda should stay in the present. Time to come out of the veil of being an undisputed champion & see the present, real situation & act likewise (more maturely).
There's another angle to this though that MM should act like a champion. He should have that attitude. Just like Lorenzo has of being in the front always. JL99 pushes like crazy from the word go. Be it in FP, WUP, Sighting, etc. But, does he do that while overtaking. No. Coz he rides sensibly. But, MM93 will just lunge at the front riders unlike anything. He should learn to ride & overtake sensibly. Otherwise, he'll ruin not just his own race but everybody else's as well.

Finally we have a motogp weekend coming up. I've already watched the last race like en times and shown it to many others around 4-5 times. The wait has been so long coming up to this weekend. Here are a few updates.

Tito Rabat breaks his collar bone in a training accident.
Bradl suffered a scaphoid fracture at Assen and will be replaced by Claudio Corti for his home GP.
Bridgestone is bringing in asymmetric fronts for the DutchGP.
..and Marc has been unbeaten at the German track since 2009(125cc).
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Why has Karel been out of action for so long?

Aoyama to replace Abraham at Sachsenring

At Assen home racer van der Mark from Pata Honda WSBK was supposed to replace Abraham. Didn't work out because of who will pay for crash damage issues. Now test rider for HRC will be replacing him, since Aoyama will be testing at Sachsenring for the Michelin tyres.

Latest news coming in hot and fresh from the MotoGP oven. Marco Melandri has broken away from Aprilia with immediate effect and won't be racing at Sachsenring. Most probably to be replaced by Eugene's brother Michael Laverty. The older of the two Lavertys has raced recently in MotoGP in the open class and has a good knowledge of both the Bridgestone's and Carbon brakes. Something that new replacement rider's always struggle with.

Came to know about another thing for the DutchGP. Melandri isn't going to be on the grid now. He and Aprilia have decided to part.

I'm still stuck to Dutch GP after what happened on race weekend. Damn it's difficult to get over with :P

Btw, there have been rumours of Melandri riding the new R1M for Yamaha at wsbk next year. Let's see how that turns out.

Thats a logical movement for Melandri. I was tired of seeing him at the bottom of the grid every time. Aprilia needs a pair of riders like Suzuki has. People are saying Bautista is doing a very good job, however, I fail to notice that.

Bautista is basically riding a slightly better version of the ART which is already prehistoric in MotoGP time! He was doing far better than his teammate. And the first goal is to beat your teammate.

Aprilia do not expect results this year and are not even looking for it, this year is dedicated to data collection. So Bautista and Melandri were being used as test riders, something that these level of riders do not want to do. The fact that Alvaro has put his head down and got on with the job without complaining and getting the best results that the machine is capable of, is testament to his professionalism. All said and done, he is doing a good job on that bike!

I've recently installed the motogp13 PC game and it has some videos which unlock as soon as you reach a certain level in your career. There was one of those videos from 2012 where Bautista rammed into Jorge's White Yamaha and ruined one of his engines. I remember that incident because of Jorge's furious reaction in the gravel. Now coming to Bautista, I'm happy with whatever he's doing as long as he's no where close to Rossi. Good Aprilia or bad, fast or slow it shouldn't be running with Bautista on it anywhere near #46.

Knowing Bautista's past, even if the Aprilia improves to allow him to qualify in 10th. Rossi and the remaining top 9 guys will be under threat. His torpedoing skills are legendary only surpassed by Barbera
