Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
however if the kick was more a reflex action and not deliberate, one wonders why rossi left the circuit and not attend the post race PC to defend himself.
also, the fact that rossi was off throttle and looking at marc (who was outside) instead of taking his inside line (which he said at parc ferme he wanted to go wide at to push marc away) still makes the incident very questionable even if one assumes the 'kick' was a reflex.Last edited by aditya_YZF-R15; 10-25-2015, 05:00 PM.

Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
^^ even if he was pissed off at RD decision, it still makes him look guilty to just leave the circuit, no ? even if his 'kick' was a reflex, he is certainly not entirely innocent either...he had the inside line and he said he wanted to go wide to try to keep mm away from him, so he could have just done that instead of slowing down and looking outside at mm a couple of times seemingly in attempt to 'make sure' mm goes as wide as possible and as much nearer the edge of the track..certainly this part of the incident was deliberate by rossi (which is what effectively RD says he was penalised for)..in doing so, he must have naturally expected a touch from MM's bike/body in his attempt to lean into the corner and not run off (MM himself was also off throttle by then)...many people have vigorously argued in the past on how cunning and in-the-moment intelligent and crafty rossi is, so it's not inconceivable that rossi being fed up with mm wanted to create a questionable situation for MM so that he either runs too wide, maybe run out of track or worse..
at RD meeting rossi didnt exactly claim it was a reflex action, but instead that his foot came off the peg after the touch by mm's helmet... however according to RD they dont have any clear evidence of this either.
anyways..Last edited by aditya_YZF-R15; 10-25-2015, 05:50 PM.

Thank you R-Series for the video on Youtube. People who are questioning if it was a deliberate or accident just watch the knee of the Rossi after MM moved away from his bike.Originally posted by R-series View PostAdding to the above, here's what everyone's calling a kick. The helmet touched the knee, Marc's helmet touched Rossi's knee, Red Helmet touch yellow knee slider.
How hard is it, really? Why is it only you who here who thinks about everything else apart from what happened? First the comparison and now this?
I'm just saying "Marc's helmet touched Rossi's knee" and considering how Rossi was irritated, he shoved him off.
Now ofcourse there are no rules for bad intentions but only for bad actions and that's why Rossi takes the short end of the stick. I'm not taking sides here, just showing what prompted the action and caused the result. And eventually a rider can't give someone punishment if they are riding incorrectly, only the Race Direction can.
If you are one of those who are willing to cause a stir here (just like last time), I would just suggest you not to do it here again. You share your opinion or criticise others, but stick to the topic instead of bringing knives and asking others to pull out theirs.
I am a Rossi fan boy, but as far as this incident is concerned, I'm just as disappointed as anyone. I don't know what better Rossi could have done, but what happened, should not have happened as per me as well. So if you want to drag this, this is in no way the place to do so.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
.
Rossi's 10th championship comes after nearly 20 years of racing.
Marquez should have taken heed and paid attention to Rossi's comments over the past weekend.
Marquez seemed to have let Lorenzo through today too.
VR made it clear that he was not interested in any sort of time wasting with MM in the race today and at Valencia.
Marquez rode like a little weasel today. Dirty racing. Rossi seems to have had it with MM's antics.
The ONLY way that riders can communicate with each other is thru glances and hand gestures.
Rossi warned Marquez THRICE while ON the track today.
Like i said before... I belive VR did take Marquez out at Aragon... but there was absolutely no kick today.
Pushing your knee outwards when another rider is leaning on you is not a "kick"
Marquez is a superb talent... but he will kill himself or another rider if not checked.
Sure, he may feel tempted to fight with Rossi during every race...
but c'mon the guy is fighting for his 10 championship.
I believe Rossi will take Marquez out again at Valencia if he tries anything of this sort at the last race.
(I'm really hoping against hope that the 3 penalty points are reversed)
I also believe that Rossi has the ability to not let Marquez win another championship next year.
Rossi will make the next few years of Marquez' life living hell.
And... I would really like to see how gracious Lorenzo and Pedrosa are next year...
When Marquez pulls these same moves on them while fighting for the championship next year.
Will prove how truly Spanish they are.

Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
Marc did touch Rossi first, although with his helmet..
Maybe Marc was expected Rossi to be as Lorenzo when they raced at Jerez 2013. Rossi's kick?? I might have watched a whole different video (s) then.
Dunno why was Lorenzo fuming at the Race Direction (Courtesy: Neil Hodgeson). Dont know what effected him, fight between the two didnt benefit him as much as he expected??
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
Like Marc didnt break any rule in Australia or at Sepang, neither did Rossi, when he took a wider line or Looked back. Everytime Marc overtook Rossi , Rossi did overtake him again. They were all clean overtakes, isnt it? (Maybe hard overtakes, but no contacts)Originally posted by aditya_YZF-R15 View Post^^ even if he was pissed off at RD decision, it still makes him look guilty to just leave the circuit, no ? even if his 'kick' was a reflex, he is certainly not entirely innocent either...he had the inside line and he said he wanted to go wide to try to keep mm away from him, so he could have just done that instead of slowing down and looking outside at mm a couple of times seemingly in attempt to 'make sure' mm goes as wide as possible and as much nearer the edge of the track..certainly this part of the incident was deliberate by rossi (which is what effectively RD says he was penalised for)..in doing so, he must have naturally expected a touch from MM's bike/body in his attempt to lean into the corner and not run off (MM himself was also off throttle by then)...many people have vigorously argued in the past on how cunning and in-the-moment intelligent and crafty rossi is, so it's not inconceivable that rossi being fed up with mm wanted to create a questionable situation for MM so that he either runs too wide, maybe run out of track or worse..

Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
Valentino Rossi to the microphones of Sky Sports Motogp: " my has not been a do it by reaction I didn't get there because I wanted to give him a kick to bring him down. I wanted to tell him " oh you do enough, because no more!" I just wanted to slow it down and send him out trajectory don't drop it, you can clearly see from the pictures that he touches me with the handlebar on my leg and falls down before I take your foot off the platform. It was a bad end, you end up like this. Marquez was put in his head that he wanted to decide who won the world. These things we have seen very few times in sport, I think he did a very bad figure "Originally posted by lalitp View PostRead here that Rossi will be having his press conference. Any updates on it?

Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
The outcome of the duel between the two was very bad for sports. It coming from someone of the likes of Rossi was even worse. Lets keep aside as to who was at fault for the crash. The mere fact that Marc was making such hard moves on someone who was deservedly fighting for his world championship baffles me. Surely it was legal but when you talk about sportsmanship, how about this one then?Contribute to the environment.

Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
Marquez reacts.
People complaining about Rossi avoiding PC, Movistar Yamaha were out appealing against RD to FIM Stewards. But yeah, on that corner, corner 14, Valentino passed me. I heard the bike then I pick it up, but then I saw that he was completely straight and looking at me and stopping a lot. I was just waiting because there was nothing to do in that point and then I saw that with his leg he pushed my arm and my front brake and then I lock the front wheel and I crash.

Re: MotoGP 2015 Season - Updates
So in order for Rossi to win the championship with +7 points going into the last round, Pedrosa and Marquez (or whomever) need to finish 1st and 2nd, Jorge 3rd, and Rossi needs to work his way up to 6th from dead last.
This is Vale's best and only chance.
It would have him win by 1 point.
(I forgot about iannone, if he can get past Jorge, it would be much better for Rossi, let me calculate...)
OK, if Iannone can force Jorge back to 4th, Rossi needs to finish 9th.
Again, win by 1 point
