I read a few pages of the thread not sure if this was already told.
I feel the 125 and the 300 will be based mainly on the Italian - Cagiva and not on comets. Kinetic were assembling a few segments of Cagiva. Mainly the 125 CC.

Mahindra might have been able to successfully created the intial buzz.. But one has to remember that this is the first ever attempt of Mahindra at making a Motorcycle.
One should be ready to take the initial teething issues in their stride.

Engine - Yes, 4 Stroke Petrol - Otto cycle. With Piston and 1 Crankshaft. Valves too.
Power - Yes. in Double digits.
Torque - Yes.. Engine does produce torque.
Transmission - Yes. With a working Sequential transmission.
Suspension - Front - Yes.. revserse suspension First time in Indian made bike.
Rear - Yes.. Coil Sping with Velocity sensitive Pneumatic/Hydraulic damper.
Brakes - Yes - Front Disc with NO ABS.
Rear - Yes - Hidden Disc brake inside drum brake.
Wheelbase - Yes. Good distance between axles.
Tires - Yes. 2 tires. With free Air inside.
Weight - Yes. Its heavier than you.
Fuel Tank Capacity - 10Kgs. First time in India - Petrol Capacity in Kgs.
Top Speed - faster than Hayachusa.
