i think you have not seen in the TV.the ad is coming frequently for aa new launch..be patient they will sure launch it in diwali.

there is no information.. because Nothing of bike has been made in India. Right. This is confirmed. Engineering design team in Mahindra R&D has not been involved to major extent. Event they dont have finer details of the bike. They are waiting for the details themselves.

Just to throw more light... . When Mahindra acquired Kinetic.. Mahindra witness serious lack of professional culture in Kinetic Engineers. They wanted things to change. People who changed survived.. People who didnt change.. had to leave the organization. Still the organization is in Overhaul phase... and Simple fact is.. when the organization is undergoing Cultural Change.. Mahindra Simply cant rely on the expertise available in Kinetic. Who dont know anything.. except copying.

Matter of fact is.. It takes years to build up a SOLID FOUNDATION OF SOLID R&D. Mahindra simply can just go out in market and pick up engineers. Bring them on board and start churning out new bikes. When we look at holistic view... There are not many people in this nation who are VERY GOOD ENGINEERS IN 2 WHEELER R&D. The skilled manpower is not available.. because Except Bajaj and TVS nobody is doing HARDCORE R&D.

looking at the above points.. i strongly believe the bike will be CBU route.. And later they will switch over to CKD.. and susequently Localized product. More over Mahindra will not have difficulty in getting a good product.. as the bike is existing proven design (not available in mass market though). They just need to build up supplier base.. and Assemble line. Yes Service back up is an issue.

yeah i know diwali is too long...and i have got some news from our locaal mahindra dealer that the bike could b launched by this 22-30th of the month...but no proof of it

mahindra is a very good company, i really think no matter what they make, be it 125 or 300, they are basically looking up to play on a global scale, not just indian market..
