And for me twin exhausts equals unnecessary weight gain.
Tell me you were joking!
Had searched all this (and a bit more) when we heard the 300CC thingy :P there was an urban legend when the MaxSym600 was being rumoured (forgot the name) during that they supposedly built a 400CC twin... so!
Too bad that I didnt save all that info anywhere!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

I thought I'm quite serious when I posted that oneOriginally posted by satyenpoojary View Post

What I meant is that we should be ready for anything. This change of thought was after I came to know that they are coming with a refurbished Boss 100cc which is a joke to be very honest.

Oh! Common! be fair to them too
they obviously didnt have enough time and resources to develop a 100CC mill by themselves....
So may be they thought if they have to put effort, might as well put it for a bigger experiment

Jokes apart a relatively known BOSS would probably be a bigger asset to them as compared to a completely new M&M Bike.... now put this relatively known 'rough and tough' bike in all those thousands or rural markets that Mahindra has reach into, I am telling you.. its a game changer!
40BHP? Thats it?Originally posted by RogueRider View PostThis is great news!
I hope they release a decent bike which doesn't have too many flaws. A twin cylinder, 40 Bhp motorcycle for 1.5-2 lakhs would be ideal in my opinion. someone who can blow dust in the ninja's face..Lol

Any bike for the mass/rural market coming from the Mahindra stable will have initial takers. See Duro and Rodeo for example even though they are the same products with almost the same teething problem as with Kinetic but the numbers jumped from 1000 to 12,000 because of the brand named "Mahindra".Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostJokes apart a relatively known BOSS would probably be a bigger asset to them as compared to a completely new M&M Bike.... now put this relatively known 'rough and tough' bike in all those thousands or rural markets that Mahindra has reach into, I am telling you.. its a game changer!

Exactly! if that could happen to Duro and Rodeo... then why not Boss?Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostAny bike for the mass/rural market coming from the Mahindra stable will have initial takers. That was not my point.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostExactly! if that could happen to Duro and Rodeo... then why not Boss?
After the initial excitement I'm trying to think as sensible as possible seeing the the other products that are coming from their stable.
That said the I'm quite impressed with the quality of the radiator and USD forks but I'm not making any comment as yet without seeing the final product.

Won't be that easy dethroning the current best 250 cc, twin in the world.. except maybe in price.Originally posted by RogueRider View PostThis is great news!
