        • Thanks a ton for that review, photos and the video Stig. What did the owner say after you crashed the CBR Baby?
@Bangalore bookers: Why dont we all plan a test ride together? Thanks Sudeep for bringing out that list. I'll try reaching out all individually and lets see when we can meet up for the test ride.

            1. Are all C250R's going to be serviced at the select 400 outlets or are there any specific A.S.S where C250R's are going to be serviced?
            2. Has HMSI already trained people to service C250R's or will it happen in the forth coming days?
            3. Last but not the least, will a C250R be serviced next to Activa bay & be handled by every passer by in the showroom? Reason being that, Activa's are handled (like moving the vehicles from wash area to service area & then to parking lot etc) by young boys & I wouldn't like them handling the big 160+ Kg motorcycles & hence the question.

            1. No ,AFAIK there would not be any specific A.S.S. for the CBR's.

            2. The guys at the service center have finished with training. Upon inquiring they said the bike is much more complicated on the inside than the other Indian bikes. Every one in the service center were desperate to lay their hands on the CBR for repairing the damage.

3.Most probably yes, I mean its the same thing for the Ninja. It is serviced along side the Pulsars and avengers but are handled with extra care. The same should be the scene at Honda.

Hmm...then why is HMSI is selling C250R's only through SELECT 400 outlets

Nope!!! N250R gets a special bay, tools & SA's. They're TAKEN-CARE & not serviced, atleast that's what all the owner's say in the thread.

I'm not worried on the fact for a trained personel handling the C250R, but like I said before, the young boys, pushing the C250R from bay to bay is what I'm really worried!!!

May be HMSI is reading this thread & does something (which I hardly believe )

Ofcourse the owner was not a very happy man at the site of the CBR laying on its side... He was quite disappointed as his could be the first showroom in Bombay to Display the CBR 250r but the crash delayed that.

Well I am a Ninja owner and the Service provided by Bajaj is excellent but there isnt any special tools or service bays for the Ninja.

There are specially trained mechanics, only they are allowed to attend to the Ninja but at the same time they do attend other 220's as well.

As far as the thing abt the young boys is concerned, mate they are planning on selling 30,000 units in one year it will be Impossible for them to provide bajaj levels of priority service.

I can understand that on practical grounds, I was just penning down my apprehensions. Imagine a young boy mishandles the 160+ Kg motorcycle & puts it down causing a minor damage to the forks (forget the fairings for now)!!! That's something I can't tolerate.

                    • The A.S.S at Thane is the best one I know so I will be taking my baby to service there, I will wait for it untill I get it done.

Cant leave it in their hands I know they are trained but I wont let it be there alone :P

Good luck with that, my experience(with other bikes) is that they always ask you to come back after a day or two

Really? The HH A.S.S. doesnt do this, I give my bike around 11am and by 4pm its ready though the SVC is quite small but the one at Thane is a huge one so I guess it will be done in 3-4 hours or so. The A.S.S. at Chembur is the same way, they tell you to wait for just two hours, nice seating arrangement and all that. My friend gets his Unicorn Serviced from there!

                          • @Stig: So, did they already have some spares to fix the bike, like fairing pieces and indicators?

Why I'm asking this is I plan to run-in the bike the moto-man way, and so will need an oil filter replacement within 3-4 days after delivery of the bike. So, if they already have spares, then it shouldn't be a problem

Edit: Updating the Bangalore list :
