Nah, even if it came at 3L it would've been a good enough deal for me, something I would've considered upgrading to this year and I dont need ABS or any such goodies or for that matter the new looks (although ABS would be good nevertheless). Overall performance means more to me. Right now my bike does speeds similar to the new CBR250 with relative ease so I will stick to it and make it better.Originally posted by kaynmantis View Post

You haven't even ridden one and you comment. At least wait for the bike to arrive.Originally posted by KwokFist View PostNah, even if it came at 3L it would've been a good enough deal for me, something I would've considered upgrading to this year and I dont need ABS or any such goodies or for that matter the new looks (although ABS would be good nevertheless). cbr250 has not been launched in india yet. the true performance figure is yet to be established. no concrete data is available yet except few info on some sites. people in xbhp r speculating vigorously about the performance. even few are claiming their bikes performance greater then cbr250.
i see in few days like cbr250 forum, there will be cbr250 hater forum

Called up the Honda salesman to check on the colours. Well, he dropped a bomb...HRC colour will be limited edition SAAR! Somehow the answer didn't surprise me for these guys without any concrete info are just blabbering away.
Am losing hope on the colour....guess will have to settle for a red :-(Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one. And most of them are full of shit.

Which one do you think?Originally posted by Nilhawk View Postwhich one? your jawa 250 or yamaha r15?
..... Ofcourse the R15.
It was my thoughts on a ownership report of the bike from the cbr forums. Nothing against the bike or any individual.Originally posted by bprags View PostYou haven't even ridden one and you comment. At least wait for the bike to arrive.
And, Sir you haven't ridden my bike...

Aaaah!! This thread is fast becoming the Saas Bahu daily soap
waaaaay out of topic of the bookings of the 2011 CBR 250... amazing!! I better get popcorn and coke for me
Well on the bookings, it has also started finally at Ganpati Auto in Gurgaon, but those buggers are not ready to give any additional details about the bikes. For the performance numbers, well that's very much known and that won't change for India or Internationally.
Congratulations and Best of Luck to all the future CBR 250 owners.

Just noted a comic thing.
Honda is quoting $4000 for CBR250R(liquid cooled, fully faired, 4 valve) and $5399 for CRF230M (its Zma engine mated to 6 speed gearbox and BS-30 carb)
.
The same engine does duty for CBF230L/M.
@saikamaldos: CRF250R manage that power with race spec(moto cross) and 13.2:0 comp ratio.Last edited by nox2505; 01-18-2011, 09:59 AM.There's lot to it other than saddle....

What is the connection of Minolta (well minolta SLR division was bought over by Sony!!) with Honda motorcyles. I have seen this theme with bigger capacity honda bikes too!! And i like the theme!!!

Ok here we go, the First acceleration video, courtesy someone in the CBR250.org forumn. The bike is damm fast, it just shoots to 100 in 6.5 secs. The rider manages 165 at around 10K rpm and runs out of road. The true speed might be some where around 155 though.
