oh yes...

u r right...(but you added an additional zero) Torque = 22.0 NM (2.24 Kgm-m) @ 8200 rpm...

then the spec comparison sheet could be wrong...

I think he is trying to say it beat a car in acceleration whose top speed is 183 . and eventually the car did go ahead.

If the top speed was 183 , it wud have been posted at many places and just a forum.

If you look the true speeds in the above snaps, it does the following true speeds

True 50 at 3,500 rpm
True 70 at around 4,700 rpm
True 80 at around 5,300 rpm
True 90 at around 6,000 rpm
True 100 at around 6,600 rpm

So it takes around 600 revvs to do 10 kph, going by this calculation, it might do the following speeds

120 at around 7,800 rpm
140 at around 9,000 rpm
160 at around 10,200 rpm

The provided the bike revvs upto 10K rpm in 6th gear, which I feel is very unlikely. I might be wrong though.

I don't think it will do speeds more than 165 at 10,500 revvs, but it has to revv there, which I believe is unlikely ( The speedo might show some fancy nos though

)

PS:- R15 owners what rpm does it the engine manage in the 6th gear. Does it atleast do 9K revvs.

100 Kmph @ 6600? Thats what the ZMA / ZMR does on the speedo too.!

CBR250R will do 125@7000RPM on 6th gear...

I too am not sure if it was in 6th or 5th gear. We better check that out on the thai forumn

^ Above link is the old CBR 250 RR which was a 4-cylinder inline.
CBR 250R is weaksauce in comparison.

Lol that video is of the old cbr250rr, That was like a mean machine and one of the fastest 250cc bikes out there....

The best part is the MPG.. wow everyone is saying its giving 31+Km/L if you ride between 90 - 120 and 26+ in traffic.. which is great

And that is during the first km's if the bike, after some time the milage should improve. One question, Does this bike have a running in period?

And ya that video is of a CBR250RR 1986 model restricted for UK.

U.S version can touch 215+
produces 45BHP @ 14000RPM and Red line is 20000RPM... U.K version 18000RPM Redline(Rev limiter)

The thai forum post which you quoted doesn't mention anything about Ninja... That person quoted 125's & 150 CC bikes trying to race him...

Even if it is 160+ i will be more than Happy..

183Km/hr

....Even Ninja 250R won't do anywhere close to that figure (at least the stock ones).
