I am all of 37 now and this will in all probability be my last bike for myself before I buy one for my son some 13-14 years in future. I wanted to buy one very cautiously now and enjo it for a long time .. the way I want
Since this will be last bike for your personal usage I will suggest you not to hurry with the purchase. I guess the floodgates in that category will open in times to come. If you think that with this bike and power you will be content then go ahead with the purchase else wait for sometime, take a test ride and then decide.

That was pretty impressive. Will the true speed be somewhere between 150 & 155' ish?

                • 164 kmph indicated, very impressive. But i dont think that video was started from stand still, so i guess 0-100 in 6.5sec may be wrong.
(And that moron did this while riding one handed.!! WTF)

                  • I actually agree with the Reaper. I doubt if he did it from standstill. Just pause the video at 0:02 and he is already doing 60. Probably around 7.5 seconds to do 100.

Exactly my thoughts, but searched on the net, the ninja 250 is supposed to do 0-100 in 5.75 secs!! (source: Kawasaki Ninja 250 Review | Best Beginner Motorcycles)

                      • I'm interested in purchasing the Moriwaki Silencer and bigger front windshield for the CBR. Is Honda India officially going to sell these items here or do we have to get them from Thailand?

Also am keen to put hard panniers (side boxes) on both sides. Where in Delhi can I get good ones? I've put Studds ones on my bullet but am looking for something more stylish and rounded (larger) for the Honda.

many people are against putting hard panniers on sports bikes but I think it looks just fine, kinda like a mini- sports tourer. Besides i need the boxes for daily use..

Am going to Delhi beginning Feb for a business trip and thought I'd pick up a few things including a new riding jacket and a lid.

I suppose you would want something like this:

Why would any one say anything against them, in the above pic they are put to the Aprilia!!

I hope you are not planning to put something like this(which in my opinion should be opposed ):

Yup, something like the first pic. In fact, some BMW and Ducati touring range bikes come with gorgeous panniers.

The second pic ones are truly only utility value. A lot of bullets going touring up here- Sikkim-Nepal-Bhutan have similar metal boxes set-up. They are truly horrible looking and rattle and clang no matter how much u screw them down..

                            • Why so much keyboarding...

Once the bike is launched, we'll settle it on the road which is faster of the two!
