I don't understand why people are getting nuts over the 0-60 or 0-100 dash??

How many people who would be getting the CBR 250 for themselves would try to record that in their entire tenure of riding the CBR?? Probably once, while keying down the first impression or first ride post. That's it. Apart from that, you ride a CBR 250 or a Ninja 250, it's your choice, your money, your fun and your passion. Nobody else has no right to judge that. Period

Does anybody here has any serious update about when and where the actual launch would be happening before the deliveries start? If yes the please share and let's plan for it as XBhp. Performance numbers are secondary when it comes to biking, it's the spirit that counts.

I have upshifted to 6th at 127kmph a few times on my R15, once was when I was keeping (or rather trying to) up with a Busa!

if u observe carefully, he shifted early into 6th, he should have shifted at 10.5k revs, it would have reached 160+ a little early

Meanwhile elsewhere in a not so correct world, anyone got any headsup on the real world price of the cbr?
(Sajal, I think there is a good chance for Indian version to be slightly detuned!)

I had found this too, These are paper figures just like Karizma-R is advertised to do 0-60 in 3.7 sec but we know it doesn't and takes a second more.

Yes, even the older Ninja does it in 7 secs

Everyone, See When Honda was making this bike, they definitely had the Ninja 250R as a competitor in mind.

CBR250R does 0-100 km/h similar to the Ninja 250R which also does it in 6.5-7.0 seconds

I am so Happy now seeing this bike can definitely compete with the Ninja 250R.

This (and the other CBR 250 thread) is, beyond any reasonable doubt, the most irritating thread I have come across in xbhp. If you ask me why, then you are one of the irritants.

Yeah right I HATE HONDA

Jokes apart, I love motorcycles and that's why I've no reason to favor any particular manufacturer or hate any

What I actually hate is people trying to prove a point that is so so trivial when you consider so much hard work of so many people behind the creation of each unit of motorcycle, be it a 100cc or a 1000cc motorcycle.

A 100cc Two-Stroke cafe racer motorcycle can be built and tuned to beat the shit out of any 250cc stock machine in a straight line drag race.... but think about it... how long that drag would last.... some seconds!! That's it, and how long we can feel good about it, a couple of days and after that.... it's our same old companion and the long stretch of tarmac of togetherness. We enjoy motorcycling and not figures and that's what XBhp is all about X Amount of BHP

About the Indian version of the CBR being de-tuned, I'm not sure about coz, it would be manufactured in India and would be exported out. But since it's coming from the likes of you, I would wait for final release!!

Somebody please Somebody, get about the specs and share the date man

Ha ha.. thats what mostly it seems to be about whenever a new bike is launched. Everybody needs to rant about how his bike is better than the others.

Just a small confession, nowadays xbhp seems to have become much more like "orkut" community threads before everyone got 'facebook-ed'. It is definitely a turn off.
