Petrol prices update thread

Shell has reduced prices further by ~3 Rs.
Super is at ~70 and unleaded is at ~67.
Few weeks back shell had reduced prices by 4 or 5 Rs.
Sorry for late bump, I had forgotten to post .

I remember filling super when it was at 78 couple of months back.

PS : there's no change in Diesel pricing.

When did this change occur?
Because i filled normal shell unleaded for 73.80 two days back. In hyderabad.

NO change here in bangalore filled today @shell the price was 71.35 for normal & 74.xx for premium.

Price was reduced about a week back.
Looks like it's not nation wide.

Yes. A week back when I filled up my tank it was 71.35. Will go again tomorrow to the Hosur road one and post the price here.

Rs 1.5 drop in India = 2% drop

Though the crude price is $80. I think the prices will only reduce if the crude price hovers around $80 until next week. I guess then the petrol, diesel and lpg prices will reduce more than Rs 1.5 if the politicos think otherwise

Crude oil: Weekly Chart (Last 200 weeks)

If we refer to this chart... as per technical analysis of this chart, the crude price has already broken the $85 support level. The next major support level is only at $70ish. It will be good news for all of us if the crude prices remain in the $70-$85 band (which it had held between Oct '09-Oct'10)

Also, before cursing the government, we must not forget that the govt. had artificially kept the Petrol prices in the Rs.40-Rs.50 region back in 2008-09 so that the common man does not suffer even though Crude was trading @ $130-$140 at the time.

Crude is running at lower price from quite some days but no reduction in price....that's pity
