  • I like 'free' petrol prices....

Being for most part American I can say....kick the government out of the business of deciding pertrol prices.

What we are going to get are competitive prices for a better products. I knew gas/petrol when it was over a dollar/gallon to where it was almost $6/gallon. But people become more conscious.

Also while saying that, we should be paying the tax which counts into the price of fuel. Rather let the oil companies pay that.

And since there is noone to set a cap on the prices there will be better quality fuel available if the price is higher.....like in case of shell.

But then again, thats my two cents and I'm a newbie Indian...so ....
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

    • Back in November 2009, when i bought my zma, price of petrol was Rs.50. In less than 2 years, it has increased by Rs.25 which is 50% This should be the highest rate of increase ever. I guess the best option now is to go the eco-friendly way, vis-a-vis, bicycle

Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

IMO Maharashtra has the highest amount of taxes imposed on fuel.

                    • Now its impossible for me to go to my office (70 km) everyday on my APACHE RTR 18O

Yesterday I went to my local TVS Showroom and booked a Star Sports for my self which costed me 47000/- includes all.

It seems that my dream of getting a Japanese 250 CC is fainting day by day.

                          • I am waiting for a time when the fuel price is so high that the initial investment on electric vehicles seems less of a jolt, which in turn will push their volumes up and their prices down.

Meanwhile I am having as much fun as I can on my fuel guzzlers. I think it was a smart move a year back when I told my parents that I don't mind a lower pocket money if they paid for my fuel expense. I am so glad I said that.
