God knows whats going on.. Prices rise when american economy is strong, prices rise even when america in almost bankrupt, prices rise when barrel prices go up, prices rise even when barrel prices are low.

Govt (Cong or BJP) all are minting money and public is suffering.

It will be 100Rs by next year , wait and watch

Riding a bike is getting expensive day by day, driving a petrol car is going to be a luxury looking at the turn of events. I guess the govt needs to bring some transparency in petroleum dealings. I don't understand what happened to all the profits that oil companies made while barrel was ~$80 last month.

Petrol or whatever fuel , its free for those big fat dumbo's sitting in Govt irrespective of Crude oil price/ tax etc etc.
Even if its 1000bucks a liter they aren't bothered.

I wish the Karnataka State Government reduces the high taxes they charge us. Fuel in Bangalore is the highest amongst the entire country for the adulterated fuel. Not just that we pay the highest amount of Road Tax for no roads.

If not it will be 2.5rs cheaper than its competitors which is most certainly unlikely

The rising prices are a concern, but if you can afford a petrol vehicle, then you are not exactly poor to qualify for subsidy like those for diesel and kerosene. I dont think subsidy is a good idea esp when we import so much of this black gold. If the imports increase then it would be a huge burden on the economy.

Not only petrol ...congrASS is going to increase the LPG prices to Rs 750 ......even in villages like mine everyone has LPG....even if you go deep inside the villages i can see people having both the cola stuff and LPG......they are gonna be hit hard.....real hard....well done Edvige Antonia Albina Maino aka sonia gandhi .

Just inquired in shell, They are also hiking the price by 3rs...
Thanks god I took my bike for full meals today
Hopefully she will not be hungry for next couple of weeks...
