or April mid or even last week. With this kind of huge demand, I wouldn't be surprised to see if HMSI postpones to even May 2011 or more.

AFAIK, HMSI says from April 2011. So it could be from April 1
or April mid or even last week. With this kind of huge demand, I wouldn't be surprised to see if HMSI postpones to even May 2011 or more.

At 1.5 lakh it seems to be good deal. I will decide on this bike after real ownership reviews etc."Biking is Divine"

The only worry is on the SERVICE. All of us know how the other sports motorcycle & big bikes are taken care well in service. With so much of bookings & too little time, I'm not sure how HMSI is going to take care of CBR 250R's servicing. I hope they take it seriously & not treat like yet another customer buying a DIO

Servicing is an issue especially for motorcycle owners, be it any brand, the quality is not at par when compared to servicing of cars. At least motorcycle SVC like HH should be courteous with customers (especially in case of HH-Originally posted by aargee View PostThe only worry is on the SERVICE. ^^^ Well I don't think the category that I mentioned above are causing big time issues. It all depends upon if HMSI is considering CBR250R in their "premium" segment or not. If HMSI is targets a pie in the 250cc segment, then they've long way to go. They simply cannot use their existing H.A.S.S or atleast need to improve miles ahead in terms of servicing CBR250R at their A.S.SSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Thats good news for motorcycle enthusiasts, and I'm not surprised.
You can make Bajaj Probiking an exception here, with respect to servicing the Ninja 250Rs. They are doing a fantastic job, as per feedback from owners.Originally posted by anmol_1990 View PostServicing is an issue especially for motorcycle owners, be it any brand, the quality is not at par when compared to servicing of cars.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

1600-1800 it is.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostAFAIK it's around 1200-1500 units per month. The figures were over 3k per month during the initial days but now it has settled down.
At 2000 units they are closing the bookings till the point they are able to clear these 2000 units

Holy quackamoly! 1800 bookings without people having taken a test ride or having seen the bike in the flesh is great. Good to see that Honda is being rewarded for taking such a bold move.
Am sure there are quite a few people who are sitting on the fence waiting to see how the bike actually behaves in the real world and more importantly how Honda handles its service. I expect it to do pretty good numbers this year until the competition catches up.

Rightly said. Honda has only failed to promote Eterno in this country due to the lack of self-start. Otherwise, all Honda products (once again Dio & Aviator) are very much successful in this country.Originally posted by neil.jericho View PostGood to see that Honda is being rewarded for taking such a bold move.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
