  • On a different note, Kawasaki are building a gentler image of Ninja in India. All the non aggressive Ninjas will be here. ER series and the 250 [which i did not feel aggressive enough].

In reality the ZXR series are the real Ninjas, the fire breathing suicide machines!

        As per my understanding-
its not 0% duty for 10 years, the entire duration/process for the duty to come down to 0% is 10 years... its will be 0% for ever (or untill one of the countried break the agrement)

And this rule will apply on only 94% of the products which are imported/exported.

For example they wont reduce tax on rice exported from india to their nation.

India on the other hand will NOT CUT TAXES ON ASSEMBLED vehicles... theyll cut taxes on automotive parts to 0% eventually(in order to protect our own auto industry).

Anyone knows what's the financing scheme for the N250r? How much Down Payment? What rate and what tenure? Who schemes it? It could be a fair indicator to the N650s scheme!
          Satyen,

If i remember when i had enquired in Probiking showroom in Bangalore, it was 1 lkh 40k as down payment and some 7k odd per month as EMI. People from Blore can rectify me. Also they have confirmed that for N650r it would be from Bajaj Auto Finance only.

haha. 4.5 lac. it definitely IS a Ninja.

                      The flying Ninja kick.

                      i'd say goodbye GT650R...
but it's not long before Garware revise the price of the already overpriced GT650R.

                      • Common business sense says that if Kawasaki-Bajaj are providing a premium segment bike at 4.5 ex-showroom, then they must still be making a handsome profit.

This is true for Hyosung too... I am hoping this will cause a steep drop in GT650's prices.

4.5 lax ex showroom it's a killer price, Bajaj has surely given a choke slam to garware motors .
101% sure now garware motors will drop prices of GT and ST7 else they can't survive.

WIN WIN situation for us ( bikers).

I also heard that though Ninja will be launched on 9th June but it would be available in cities other than pune at the end of June, any body has some info about it. Vishwas bro were are you .

                          • I am shocked how can there be so less difference of price of 250 & 650? Hope they are telling the truth. Adil was the story teller & the guy who drove the 650r started off with a massive wheelie. He was going ga ga over the performance of the bike. Though i didnt expected but this one is a real beauty to look at, beleive me friends. In pictures i saw front forks were silver but it had black ones just like ninja 400r. It also had rear grab rails like 400r.

so maybe Bajaj just launched the Ninja 400R at 4.5 lac.

                              • Damn I still doubt this 4.5Lac theory. I mean Bajaj is selling 250R for 3.2 then how can they sell 650R for 4.5L?

It implies that they are taking huge profit from 250R (Its my guess)
Lets see if they place it below 5.5L then Gt650R is dead and Honda might consider launching the new CBR600F ABS at a reasonable price.
