                          Initially i thought that dual tone pulsar will not look good, but when i saw one, i must admit, it looks much better than earlier ones.

                          but if all this is just to push the sales momentum going till the revamped pulsars are launched then --what was the need to change gear box cover?? .... i mean dual tone paint is ok but gear box side panel...isn't bajaj making it difficult by again increasing one more type of spare parts to stock. this may mean that new pulsars are more than just a few months away.


                          i think we may have to wait much longer or BAL will not immediately discontinue current models .... double onslaught on competitors, if you want cheap- we have old pulsars, if you want better bike--we have new pulsars.

                            Guys, we all know that KTM 200 is going to make its Indian debut, at Auto Expo 2012 which is about 4-5 months from now, in Feb-March.

                            Reasons could be many: Duke 200's testing by company officials here, owners' testing in Malaysia (their feedback might improve the Indian Duke), stock clearance, etc.

                            But I have only one question:
                            If Duke 200 and Next Gen Pulsar share the same platform, why do you guys expect Next Gen Pulsar to launch soon in October, while Duke 200 be postponed till March '12?? If both bikes are similar, then why the difference in launch time? It makes no sense.

                            In other words I'm saying that, maybe the next gen Pulsars might show up in the Expo only, with the Duke too, BOTH completely tested and ready to take the Indian market by storm.

                            After all, Bajaj are in no hurry, as P220 has no threat so far- out of a showroom, its still the fastest Indian (barring the CBR 250 which costs almost the double, and has less supply anyways.)

                              Could this be the new Pulsar?

                              This bike was tested in Indonesia by Kawasaki with a ZX250r..
                              - Does Kawasaki need to have a 250cc Inline 4 when they already have the worlds best 250?

                              The dimensions of this bike is NOT really something that Kawasaki might consider apt for an Inline4, atleast NOT in 2011\12!

                              Who knows, may be this IS the new Pulsar.

                              Spot some interesting bits on the bike yet? Go on... analyze it!
