I don't think refreshing a product with a fresh paint scheme is a bad idea. It's done everywhere internationally, so it's not wrong. I think it's a nice move by Bajaj who plan to keep their current P220 refreshed in the market before new pulsars come out. I'll comment about it being good or bad only after seeing it in flesh, but right now I don't have any reason to be negative about it.

I bought a bajaj pulsar 150 just a month back even though i heard that they were coming out with a few cosmetic changes for all the pulsar models, and i'm glad i did. I don't like the new color combo, because if there's one thing that i love the most about the pulsar's design is that it does not need any stickers or multi-color paint job to look awesome!

LOL.. you know who, He who shall not be named, hilarious stuff there guys, i'm sure last part of Harry Potter is working it's magic on both of you!
Coming back to the topic, as pointed out by above posts, it's a normal practice internationally (to refresh bike with new paint scheme). So, I wouldn't pick Bajaj just for refreshing with a color scheme. But, is it really necessary, especially when your best upgrade yet is in offing i.e completely re-engineered pulsars in about 3-6 months??Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Internationally japs have upgrades every year. Some year they decide to upgrade the bike ( plastic, engine, other techs ) and some years they just bring new colors/decals. You can basically look at any bike and tell the year by the color/decals. And there are no standard colors either Some years, there is no black/blue/red.
so I am happy that Bajaj is going same way and refreshing the bike with new colors/decals when an actual upgrade is planned in future.
IMO, red-black P220F looks ugly. They should have tried some new colors like green, yellow or blue-white combo and may be even colored wheels. They could have also used the strong FB pulsar page to decide between decals.

Im pretty sure ur quoting a line from the comparo between the ZMR/220/R15 in the June 2011 issue here.Originally posted by raikar_ad View PostFound this on BSMOTORING.Thought of sharing here..
Infact on the same article you must have come through this lineNo guessing who won the shootout. that first line destroys everything."YZF R15- My beloved Bumblebee long-termer! I'm so partial to this motorcycle, its not fair to the other two. On any other day they might as well have given up and gone home. But not today, for "Bee has to be a part of this face off"
i kicked myself for buying that mag. Every single thing is looked upon from a fanboy perspective(dont get me wrong i love the R15 eversince it dropped here too). There isnt one 3rd person view of any single vehicle. I now know what B.S. in their mag stands for
Anyway i dont see how this is related to the topic except for the name BajajLast edited by Nithesh; 08-04-2011, 03:47 PM.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
