That's not an upgrade in Bajaj terms! something above 220 may not come right away, even if all the current models get 4-valve engines then that's enough to ward off the competition.Originally posted by MAVERICK_m21 View PostBajaj will get new attractive colours for their bikes. I dont think anything above 220 would come for next 4 months.
Besides, I don't think Rajiv Bajaj need not mention in an interview about the upgrade if it is just about new colors!Last edited by vrugonnab; 07-16-2011, 02:01 AM.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

That's Expecting too much from Bajaj...They are not YamahaOriginally posted by Dmanyeah a completely overhauled one. Much like bigger pulsar 180 LS....with an 18-19 ps of power...n entirely new and reworked chassis n suspension bits n also shed at least 10kg...without compromising on straight line stability...
Don't Honk Unnecessarily

They have developed the KTM 200 in that segment. It wouldn't make sense to put a pulsar 180 with all that features and also keep the costs down. Significant changes can be expected but a complete overhaul doesn't seem to make business sense.Originally posted by Dmanyeah a completely overhauled one. my 2 cents... p135ls' 13.5PS is more than enough to compete with the current 125cc's. p150 should come up with 16-16.5bhp to take on rtr160 and the other 150's excuding r15(price should be well under 80k). p180 with 18-19PS to compete r15, zma, zmr etc with its terrific value for money-ness(price: <85k). KTM duke200 may be launched, so no need of a p200. Finally, a p220/250 with 25-28PS power to take on the 250cc competetion(price: 95k-1lac). All the pulsars should sport 4-valve engines, rear disks, tubeless tyres and all the present goodies in common, with an improved chassis and gearbox. p220/250 should feature mono suspension. What do you guys say??

^^ so all launches at the Auto Expo... Then I wonder why are they even bothering with cosmetic changes since they are going to launch an overhauled line up within 6 months..."stay hungry, stay foolish."

its so bloody frustrating to wait till march...i think i will go out and buy the "refreshed" cosmetic upgrade...i had been to the pulsar showroom and he said dat it would be dual colour tone...black and "shining red"...he said the pics were sent to them...the bike looks the same, dats what he said..but is not very sure...
i mean common yaar..cant the bajaj guys launch the new pulsars in september????
and to top it all...tvs and yamaha have no new launches till diwali...(sans the new r15 if i am to say so)
common manufacturers...gimme something before diwali.
