          Hi Guys,
I own the 125 and on this bike the FE completely depends on the riding style, when I do between 50-60kph I get an average or 45-47kpl and it drops to as little as 27kpl when you throttle it to 110 and above. fficeffice" />>>
No matter what marque you ride, it's all the same wind.
Bikes don't leak oil, they mark their territory ;-)

Hmm..Is it just me or does anybody else think that the mileage is too low when compared for a 125cc, in the Indian market perspective...?

The only reason i said this is because under sane riding my 220 also manages the same figures and under ripping i get a consistent range between 30-35kmpl.

Then again bikes like the duke are not meant for mileage, its all about the fun i guess.

Anyway lets see how the duke 200 fares in our market.

That is because the 125 isnt for the Indian "kitna deti hain" junta. And that 125 is all about performance.

              • I no longer see any new pulsars being tested now near their plant or on mumbai-pune expressway, where we used to catch a glimpse of those two test twins.

does this means they have stopped testing and testing phase is over??

Let that be the reason. and hopefully they launch it soon.

I think the testing is over. As they testing it about a month now.
And its time to launch Duke and after wards launch of Pulsar's. So mass production issues, advertisement issues, etc.. i think.
And I saw some one mentioned "they are now testing in night" from this thread in previous pages. So wait...

Guys sorry, i forgot to multi quote. :P

about that night testing i had already mentioned it here that i had read about it in motorbeam. And as i said earlier, according to an eye witness report in that motorbeam report they seem to be testing it sans the camouflage and also the bikes on the test as per their report also seem to mention about a rear disk on the machines. As i said earlier can we really believe the report?(again no offence to motorbeam i just got doubtful thats all)

                        • Hot News: Well the Pulsar's testing phase isnt over yet Just caught them testing today near corporation till Dehu road Pune at around 11am.

Hotter News: Had a test ride of around 6kms of the new pulsars.

And the Hottest News of all:

                          Ride Report:

                          Engine is of KTM 200cc.
0-60 acceleration is nearly same as of 220s.
Accelerated to 114 pretty fast. (It goes faster, I couldn't test the topspeed though due to traffic)
The gear box is different. So is the seating position.
The tank is quite big (i assume its for greater range)
I truly envy the lock set. Its just too good.
The petrol tank lid looked nearly the same as 220F's
The sprocket is much smaller than the KTM
I forgot to see if it was carbureted or another Fi. (Sorry)
I felt the handling somewhat like a Fazer but a little smaller.
I think cornering wouldn't be an issue in these.
Most importantly for Indian roads, they have an amazing ground clearance.
Additionally expect a price of 97k to 1.2L INR on road. (As per the riders and their test guru)

They did not allow me to peek-a-view of the bike under the cover

                            Liquid cooled or Air Cooled?

What about engine smoothness and vibrations?

Has a small radiator in the front.
Engine is quite smooth but delivers the raw power. Its not refined power like a honda. Its Wild!! Negligible Vibrations at 83~90 only.
