Why is XBhp having less / no coverage about the RE 500 TB launch, no official ride report by XBhp. Is it just that companies pay for these kind of promo's, I always was under the impression that XBhp is a neutral body and not affiliated / attached to any brand

There are many such launches / products, why is XBhp having this partiality

Moderators - Just wanted to know the reason for this, not sure if this will get posted or not.

For an Official xBhp Ride Report either the company officials have to invite xBhp / xBhians or..
.. the bike has to be special/interesting enough for xBhpians to take time out to ride/click/write/post about it.

I don't think that Paid Reviews exist... But yes a properly carried out PR activity can subtly "influence" to some extent.

WHy do we need a review in first place from xbhp ?? There are many other sites guys!! Don't rely on one forum only!! educations can be from many channels, more or less good/bad, but at end it's us which one to put in our brain chip and erase it !!

I am sure we have many good riders/ lover of RE here in xbhp and when they buy this TB500/TBT350 then surely they write it. So it's normal.... I don't think most of us depends on review on one source only!! The best review is personal ride report rather than reading here or some where else!! Because every one's point of view is far different!!

Loved the last line. And that's more true if you are talking about Enfields. Different people with different tastes so different opinions...
I never expected a nice review from xBhp on any RE ride (neither do I need one...) But was just wondering, WHY !!?

Edit: And yes, now I too feel that xBhp is biased. Towards Hamaraa Bajaaj or those so called high-end 'videsi' bikes.....

Saar...the inputs have to be supplied, without inputs how can there be a review? Until then, things will take time

There was no first impression for CBR 250R also!!! If a product is good, it speaks for itself, all reviews will reveal the intentions behind the reviews at some point. You also have to see the pattern on the first impressions for various bikes

There was no detailed report about CBR250R Common give me a break. There was a detailed comparison with Ninja 250. Dont you remember this ??

Common 'payeng' dont be sarcastic here. First of all I have never seen you people ( so called the moderators of this forum, or the official reviewers ) even say anything ever about a RE. May be you guys dot have that experience. Who knows.
And if you find Discover 125 ST interesting and not TB500, then sorry I must say, you guys should stop calling yourself as moderators

All the rides that are officially done from XBHP are all done on big bikes, and those bikes are promoted like nothing else.
The Ninja 650 was promoted so much. A big review from all angles, whats the difference and all. I really doubt how many people will buy that. Still that review was done.
Basically i appreciate that the mods did not do a review here. Because they would have ended up comparing the TB500 with the ninja 250 or may be ninja 650 or may be with CBR250

                • well for a first payeng is just another member & no moderator

2nd the parent companies also have an active customer feedback section/customer reaction section etc etc as part of their marketing sbu through which they approach or are approached by auto enthusiasts/sites/magazines for reviews - RE doesn't have one atleast a very active one

In such cases first reviews are done based on some member's vehicle as in the case of Honda 250

3rd even though xbhp promotes any bike culture it is the generic RE owner who feels comfortable in his own owners group of REs so much so that most of them do not/will not join other bike owners in a way alienating themselves. This being the reason you probably dont see too many RE related things here although there are only RE specific blogs & websites & what not dedicated else where in web-space & offline

last a 1st impression can be written by anybody & not necessarily the core team of xbhp

surajit bro, from what I've observed here in xBhp, I can say no such comparisons are done by the 'reviewer' but it's we 'members' who go on discussing pros and cons of new bike. and then this so called discussion turns into comparison with existing one generally in same price range and irrespective of it's class, usage, power band and so on... and then into brand war... (I hope this thread is not on the same way... )

                    • There is nice reviews about TB500 in both Bike India and Overdrive Magazines(Nov -edition)...In the review they have mentioned that RE called all the auto journalists for a ride from Bangalore to Ooty on TB500(In both magazines different bikes but same locations,,,Nice)Don't know how Xbhp missed that call..

sorry, didn't get what you want to say... are you saying that ownership experiences are complaining about vibrations and and the report didn't mentioned that !? doesn't it mean that 'xBhp.com' is still 'bajajpulsar.com' somewhere off the camera (webpage ) !? and internet is future of advertising then I guess only Bajaj and other 'phoren' brands have some bright future. god save others which are equally/more/less competent but are neglected. but anyway, as aargee sir said, it really doesn't matter. a good product speaks for itself...

ps: I'm not a bajaaj basher. I own one and am a great fan of it's tech and attitude towards market.

                            • Almost all the people who end up buying enfields, buy them listening to the soul.anyone who tries reviewing them on xbhp or any auto mag would only be talking about vibrations and bits and pieces falling off.so maybe as someone said, its only when you ride it, you strangely start liking it.
Its an experience like the girl in college with a husky voice, some hate, some lust after it, one day then, the ones who hate it, take a different approach start thinking differently and fall in love.

Hmm.., Ya, to a quite some extent the same thing goes in our lives also. Many of us fall in love with the most impossible things (read behaviors) in our lives.
Maybe RE is cashing on this..
