As to what RE said in the Auto Expo this bike should be available for bookings around this month or August...! Any confirm report on this..?

I dont see that Bike listed on their website which was there previously.

One clarification needed, does this 500 redline at ~5.5K RPM?

I mean, it makes bucket loads of torque at 4K RPM, but does it mean it'll redline so soon?

What's the usual speed at 4K RPM for this vehicle? Bulleteers please enlighten?

I dont know regarding the 500cc but i own a Thunderbird Twinspark at 4k rpm the speed is around 90km/hr

I think TB500 would be lauched with this movie release !! A strong feeling !!

today while on mu way to office saw a bike with different led tail set up zipping past the traffic. Just then looking at the number plate found that it was having a TC reg..hence was keen to know what bike was it..hence chased him for a while and found that to be a Thunderbird 500..wowww...it was awesome..But the thing is that i wasnt able to chase him/keep in phase with him even on an open road with my Karizma..thank god red signal was up..hence bike stopped..before i could stop for the signal the bike started to fly since it was green..somehow overtook him and flagged him to stop..he too did so after looking at my bike's rear mudguard stickered xbhp.com. First thing he did was shaked hand with for being a xbhp member..then i asked him to pose for few snaps for which he denied storngly..but somehow I managed to take few of them, bad though since it was my xperia mobile. He was literally avoiding me to take photos of him and the bike.But I couldn't resist since the bike was mean and awesome.But he was interested to start off and so he did.before he get away from my vision i shouted 'boss when was the launch'??he just replied/shouted back as "just few more weeks"!! I dont know how far its true!

sure.just 2 pics where i managed to click. right now me sitting in the office where i couldn't upload images. will do it once i reach home. mann the console is really awesome..with blue back light and digi-analogue it looks neat..also the thump is not usual as a RE..its was soo very mild..the led tail light when glows looked sharp and very very neat.the rider was wearing a ls2 with royal enfield written on it and a black tshrt with the same royal enfield.the bike was registered in my area rto where the RE factory is.was nice when he considered me and my request since being a member of xbhp. sure will catch it again!

I had said this earlier only guys that this one does not look as good as it used to be in the Auto Expo pics.
There is one lying in the BTM service center ( Bangalore ).
if any one wants to see it, then go ahead and give it a try. Saw it in last Saturday.

Its not that great. And if asked, i wouldn't pay 2Lacs for this one at all.

Crusier is always better then a normal RE bikes. So a RE crusier with little low lying height, projector lights and rear disc brakes , etc is not a bad deal. ut yes 1.8L+ price doesn't justify this bike in any ways. So i booked CL350 and still thinking do i need to change my mind??

Even 1.72L for CL500 is not justified as there are many limitations. But still RE is a RE!! but i think RE needs to work alot to attract public!!
