Nice, Hitler got upset because of the delay in launching TBTS500!

Yesterday, I visited RE Brand Store, Adyar, Chennai and enquired about the launch. They also told me that it would be in August. The current waiting period for all the models/colours is 8 months.

If this is true then its good. Considering Cl500 desert storm and chrome are priced likewise which is ridiculous.

So on-road will be around 1.6 Lakhs ???

                  You are correct.
People who will go for Thudnerbird 500 will always be the new guys and not the older ones. As it is a retro cruiser, and has a lot of glamor in it ...

so they will think twice before going for Thunderbird500, as CBR250 R is also present there.
So if RE puts the bike at 1.6 Lac on road, then its an awesome deal, otherwise 2 Lac is too much for that bike.

RE are not very famous for average. C500 returns between 25 to 33 kmpl.
Another reason could be this is a Real Time Mileage Indicator and shows real time figures .

Whats with the all black range. Inclusion of Silver and Red would not have harmed. The price seems ideal. Lots of new features is a welcoming change. Reliability and quality of the new instruments can only be gauged once it is launched.

Yes, indeed. What could be the reason. Have they dumped the idea of thunderbird 500?
