Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Have you test rode the daytona or what? :P
Bro, this bike will bridge the gap between the quad litres and the daytona, and untill we save our asses up for the 675R, lets paint the city orange."When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return." ~ Leonardo da Vinci

I haven't ever ridden a Daytona, but i'm sure that would be absolutely crazy. I currently have a 200 Duke, so what i mean is that i want to evaluate if a 390 it's a worthwhile upgrade. Otherwise it won't make any sense for me to lose money on selling D200 and then losing money again on selling a D390 (both of them less than a year old).Originally posted by 'nYsus' View PostHave you test rode the daytona or what? :P

That's even better to know.Originally posted by studiobindia View PostBut in Delhi booking is on the way and probiking dealer mentioned bike will be revealed on 10th and then in two weeks approx it will reach to him and definitely first lot should come before the end of May. His staff is have just gone to Pune for training of new Ninja 300 and KTM 390.
Probably my guy is taking me for a ride then.
I would book it only after I test ride it though.
Let's wait n watch.
It's just around the corner then ;-)◦ ● 4-wheels move the body... 2-wheels move the soul ● ◦

That was still not confirmed and we were speculating. Great to know that they haven't lost it to cost-cutting! And what's that disc brake with 4-pot caliper? ABS Brakes are 3-pot, right?Originally posted by sudhi View PostKTM D390 India page says, 390 is coming with Metzeler tyres. so it is confirmed

Indian Website says:Originally posted by bbsrailfan View PostThat was still not confirmed and we were speculating. Great to know that they haven't lost it to cost-cutting! And what's that disc brake with 4-pot caliper? ABS Brakes are 3-pot, right?
Number of pistons are not related to ABS.And there is no NOn ABS version as per Pune Dealer.A state-of-the-art Bosch 9M ABS makes the pleasure of the impressive Duke dynamics even safer and adds the finishing touch to its peerless chassis qualities. The ABS on the KTM 390 Duke monitors the effect of the potent brake system with radially-bolted, four-piston calliper and 300 mm disc diameter - fun with no regrets, developed in close collaboration with the specialists from Bosch and Brembo. And for the stunt riders among us: the ABS can naturally be switched off.
However in one sentence :Equally lightweight and delicate as they are stable, the 17 in cast light alloy wheels are fitted with grippy Metzeler tyres - 110 mm wide at the front and an impressive 150 mm at the rear. The tyres impress with tremendous grip in both wet and dry conditions, as well as providing supreme durability.
