Its a facebook page and in no way an authority.

KTM India website has long back confirmed all this, I don't know why everyone is speculating past few months

    Brakes :

A state-of-the-art Bosch 9M ABS makes the pleasure of the impressive Duke dynamics even safer and adds the finishing touch to its peerless chassis qualities. The ABS on the KTM 390 Duke monitors the effect of the potent brake system with radially-bolted, four-piston calliper and 300 mm disc diameter - fun with no regrets, developed in close collaboration with the specialists from Bosch and Brembo. And for the stunt riders among us: the ABS can naturally be switched off.
    Tyres:

Equally lightweight and delicate as they are stable, the 17 in cast light alloy wheels are fitted with grippy Metzeler tyres - 110 mm wide at the front and an impressive 150 mm at the rear. The tyres impress with tremendous grip in both wet and dry conditions, as well as providing supreme durability.

    • I am in doubt. I do not know why KTM Dealer said the tyres will be from MRF. I specifically asked about the tyres. I think it's guesswork.

      • I'd be surprised if on road price goes above 2 lac.

There is a good chance, rather high probability, that it's cost will be above & beyond 2L

It isn't even officially launched yet. Bookings haven't (officially) started. Your question is invalid.

                      • 390 will be damn untameable killer power/weight ratio.
But what i think is those same section tyres that of Duke200 wont be able to sustain that power. If they do...still the quality needs to be too soft to allow more traction to keep that power organised. And tank capacity needs to be above the 10.5litres duke 200 boasts. Touring stuff shouldnt hamper. Though its a street bike still i think a lil more will do good.

                        • As told before booking already started in Delhi. They have confirmed each dealer may get 15 to 20 bikes in first lot ktm plus ninja. I have seen with one probike dealer the booking list with money paid for booking.

What do you mean the same section tyres won't be able to sustain that power? The tyre is HUGE! I'm reasonably sure that 43 bhp isn't nearly enough to break traction on proper tarmac (unless you intend to).
