Re: Honda reveals CBR300R!!
But it's still a good move. The performance is going to be closer to the Ninja 300 now than the CBR250R could ever provide, while still being easier on the pocket overall. Welcome move, it appears like Honda isn't just content with CBR250R in the wake of increasing competition. The Chronicles of Motorcycling - The Man, The Machine and The Road

Re: Honda reveals CBR300R!!
Finally a CBR with a CBR look and not a VFR one
, am glad to see this. . . Hope this is a track focused rather than a sports-tourer which simply doesn't go with the name CBR. . .
Cheers!!!

Re: Honda CBR300R Revealed: xBhp News
That one in the white is very beautiful. Especially after seeing some amazing designs from hero for the last couple of weeks. this looks really refreshing.
Since Honda have 500/400 twin engines, I giess this one will be a bored out single with some 30HP. not bad at all.
It will be nice to see the battle of singles, in 2-3 L bracket (RC 390, P390, CBR 300)
if Hero or TVS is working on a 250, they may have to update now and bore it big

Re: Honda CBR300R Revealed: xBhp News
With a single cylinder and easy on pocket concept, it is not possible to touch N250R power figures leave N300. I have my doubts that a single cylinder engine can show a bump of ~10 PS with just a minute increase of 50cc. The current CBR250R produces ~26 PS. N250R and N300 produce 33PS and 39PS of power. With an increase in capacity of the engine by a mere 50cc, is it possible to retain the essential characteristics of the original engine it is based on?Originally posted by Satellite.kid View PostBut it's still a good move. If this is a twin cylinder (say two CBR150R engines in parallel config) then it might be closer to N250R or even surpass it by a lil margin in power output but it won't be so pocket friendly. CBR250R in Hyd is already at ~2L, so if this is single cylinder then going by Honda's pricing it should be commanding some 30-40K extra. If its a twin cylinder which is highly unlikely, then it can touch the quarter to three mark easily.
All we can do it wait and see for the spec to come up and then the comparo will work properly.Regards,
