Buddy there is a difference between CB and CBR.. CB comes naked and CBR comes with full fairing
It's one of the shittiest website I have ever come across, stay out of it, all fake news and guessings. . .

    Cheers!!!

    Update update update,

    http://www.motoroids.com/news/scoop-2014-honda-cbr300r-286cc-engine-30-8-bhp-max-power/. . .

    It's a 286cc motor which churns out 30.8 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 2.7 kgm @ 7250 rpm, so I guess it's a tourer again and not a complete sports machine. . .

    Sad to see a CBR tag on a sports-tourer . . .

    Cheers!!!

      Not quite...

      30.8 bhp vs 39 bhp
      single vs twin
      8000 rpm vs 13000 rpm

It is a very good deal for its price... The Ninja on the other hand is a different league...

And I expect this to be priced at atleast 2.5L OTR...

Nah. Ninja is far better in many aspects. So no threats for it from this one.

ANd I don't get why did Honda released a new color scheme CBR250 when there were eyeing launching CBR300 ???
Very tough to judge these companies....I will surely pitty all new CBR250s now.If this news comes as a reality in India!!
Don't count on it....Remember that Honda is adept at launching bikes at high frequency but its very lazy to upgrade them.
The CBR 250 was launched in May 2011 and ti took them 2 full years for a new paintjob, not a facelift! It's been their routine to have long product life-cycles...a history of their upgrades in India will confirm that the Unicorn went untouched for aeons

I expect the 300 to replace 250 only in the 2nd half/end 2014, if it happens. They may unveil it at the '14 expo but will start selling it much later- like all their latest launches.
Else they may continue with the 250r and get the CBR400/ 500 series.
The CBR250 seems to be doing excellent numbers for Honda and hence they brought the 2013 models so late. It most probably has nothing to do with the 300...

Anyway all Honda has to do is to give the current CBR250R the cosmetic treatment of the CBR300R. Engine upgrade is not needed actually in India. People who would buy this bike would still buy this bike.
The CBR300 front on the 250? er....I don't' expect Honda to do this jugaad....they may delay and bring the 300 itself to replace. I agree wit the last point- people booking the 250 will still go ahead with it. THe launch- sales-delivery takes its won sweet time

Re: Honda CBR300R Revealed: xBhp News

I think in a really really really price sensitive market like ours.... Honda is targeting the masses rather than the niche performance motorcyclist.

A in line 4, even a parallel twin motor, will be atleast twice as expensive as a simple single cylinder.
Having more moving parts, added complexity, etc will only add to the rising spares, service costs, as is evident in the Ninja 250.

We will be ready for more common place multi cylinder bikes in the near future, when our focus shifts upwards from the 100cc class, which has already started

Re: Honda CBR300R Revealed: xBhp News

Taking that point forward, we really really REALLY need a made-in-India 2-cylinder bike. If a group of enterprising guys can make an RE VTwin out of that heritage Bullet motor, why can't a big company manufacture a modern, multi-cylinder bike here? (Have a feeling it's Bajaj who might do it before the Japs!)

Affordable performance bikes have to go beyond a single cylinder if our market and biking has to evolve....

i never meant in terms of performance .....ninja is in its own league
i meant more in terms of VFM

a cbr 250 was never a proper upgrade from pulsars karizma etc..
but a cbr 300 is definitely because of nearly 31 bhp(+all round good package better than cbr 250)
plus as i said buying it in the first place will be cheaper and also maintainance cheaper than ninja

and frankly speaking i dont give a damn about pulsar 375
and rc390 if it comes out will be a hooligan

                    Very well put forward.
Its high time that an indeginous parallel-twin, V-twin is designed and manufactured in India for the rest of the world.
We have already revolutionised the sw sector, lets do the same for the Motorcycle sector as well!

May we know the reason for the P375 hatred?

Im a hardcore Honda fanboi myself, but the P375 does look like a tasty, extremely VFM alternative.....kinda a stepping stone fr India's entry into true performance motorcycling!

The central dial is the tacho, while the speed is shown in the lcd section.

It's the same as the old one. Just change of colour scheme.
