    The thing is, we find it hard to believe anything now. Lots of broken promises over the years by various manufacturers.

      As per press release it is suppose to be assemble here, not a ckd one. Check out the link below for the press release.

        Assembled doesn't mean produced. Just assembling the parts together into a motorcycle that they brought down via the Completely Knocked Down Route.

            Latest news was about the 9 month delay. Maybe they are updating the product with simple and nimble things like LED tail lamps , a little more power etc. Who knows.

                      yamaha and kawasaki are the best(japanese) when it comes to styling..all this hondas, we need to get used to it looks rather then falling for it....

                        They call that hideous muffler 'Sport muffler' The older 250R's muffler was better to look at. Like stated above, Honda and Suzuki need to learn designing from Kawasaki and Yamaha.

                          I went to multiple Honda dealers to enquire about/buy CBR250R. One of the dealers told me CBR250R is on hold now and has to be booked. Waiting period is 3-4 months and it will come with split head lamps and different graphics after 3-4 months. Asked him if he was mentioning the CBR300R but he said 250 only is going to come like that. Not sure if he knows full details. But now my plans for buying have gone for a toss.

                            The CBR300 unveiled in China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition. Will be launched in India soon.

                            Speaking at event, Seiji Kuraishi, COO, Honda China, said, “
                            Honda is exhibiting the world premiere of the CBR300R, a global motorcycle model for which Honda is planning to begin production in Thailand in the future. The market introduction of this model in China will be discussed in the future."                             According to reports The 300cc will be a replacement for the 250cc CBR and no more CBR 250 will be produce .

                              News is too old(Oct.2013). And CBR250R with new looks is sold in Indonesia. So its not replaced all over the world, though Logic says its 300R for India.

                                Just saw the news about redesigned CBR250R in Indonesia. Recently went to inquire about CBR250R. One guy told me that CBR250R is going to get launched with split headlamps and different graphics. Thats why waiting period of 3-4 months. Which means India is not getting the CBR300R but the redesigned CBR250R.
