Not really a tourer, but ..looks like it can offer good log rides
I think Honda heard the pryers of the tourers in India.

Not every manufacturer desires to be no.1. They may be content with the numbers they are doing. That could be the reason why Japanese biggies like Suzuki and Yamaha are not that keen to explore premium segment.

Looks really good. Wish they also release a 500 variant with the same looks. This will be a really good alternative to the Hyosung, Honda and Ninja 250

Re: Honda CBR300R Revealed: xBhp News

Bike is wonderful but I'm disappointed.
First they launched 500 trio for developed countries
then reduced it to 400 for some countries
and when it comes to Asia, it's down to 300.

I'll only feel good if they go ahead and launch 300 along side 500. But thats not going to happen.

First thing is that we are not even sure that this machine will land on our shores.
Looks are decent, I will say looks better to me than N300r (personal opinion, not starting a brand war).

As per the chinese website and speculations it will pump out 31 BHP (roughly). Decent again but with a single cylinder.
But, If I look at old N250r, it has still decent looks, twin cylinder and 32.xx BHP power. (sorry if I'm comparing both)

            Old N250r still lures me.

Personal opinion, CBR 400 r seems good, but its very unlikely that "IF" Honda launch it here, they won't be able to price it below 3 lacs (in order to compete with RC 390 which is around the corner).

Looks pretty good, but mot jaw dropping IMO. But I'm not much into sport tourers anyway. KTM RC390 will be more of my type of machine I guess...

Looks better than the 250 but the fairings could have been much more attractive though. If the specs are indeed true, I doubt it will interest too many potential buyers.

Actually now we need something head- head with Duke 390 or more better.

Duke 390 being a much better power and performance but I feel somewhere it boils to average in high xxx digit performance. Where Stability is surely a imp aspect when you ride a 390cc mill. No one likes to ride a 390cc below 100kmphs as normal and frequently hitting 140kmph+
If this CBR300 surely competes with D390 or N300 then it should be much powerful and stable. It should be capable of CBR badge!

Seriously I am waiting to see Yamaha upgrading R15 to 300cc because now I don't see people looking for 250cc INMO.
People are either interested in 200cc where you get power + mileage or directly to some budgetly higher cc bikes like D390 etc.

ANd I don't get why did Honda released a new color scheme CBR250 when there were eyeing launching CBR300 ???
Very tough to judge these companies....I will surely pitty all new CBR250s now.If this news comes as a reality in India!!

Look much better and now this bike suites its name CBR compared to the 250 one.... why dont they simply put a twin cylinders to the bikes exceeding 250cc engines...

yea this will blow ninja 300 since it will cheaper to maintain and cheaper to buy

and also roughly will have the same power

It will be tough to make 13 more hp while boring an additional 50cc. Even a 30-31 Hp will be nice for a much cheaper bike. Gt 250 will find it even more hard

                                "Stock Clearance"?

Anyway all Honda has to do is to give the current CBR250R the cosmetic treatment of the CBR300R. Engine upgrade is not needed actually in India. People who would buy this bike would still buy this bike.
