Re: Yamaha Starts Dealer Training For R25
Just called up Delhi Scooters (Rajouri Garden) in Delhi and inquired about R3. Here is the dialouge :
Me: When is it getting launched ?
Them: No confirmation till now.
Me: I have heard it will be launched in next month i.e. July.
Them: Yes sir, talks are going on but it is not official since we have not gotten any confirmation till now.
Me: Any idea about the price ?
Them: No.
Something makes me believe it will be mid July 2015 launch.

Re: Yamaha Starts Dealer Training For R25
A parallel twin fully faired 300cc won't cost anything below 3.5L. Why should it undercut Ninja 300 when it is equal in quality and performance? Each brand has loyal base, and Yamaha need not resort to cost turfs to fight for customers.

Re: Yamaha Starts Dealer Training For R25
Adding on to it what @RonSyl have said, 4 bikes came under the dealership of 2 dealer names BW and Pacer.
all the 4 bikes were European spec and was brought to Hoskote Godown, outside Bangalore.
Regarding the price was confirmed by the Pacer owner(yes it would be around 3L on road), though nothing written confirmation we have got yet.
Recently pics of R3 found in Mumbai was correct as Yamaha is busy in transporting and coordinating with the movement of inventory and launch which will be in August.
By The way Ron, get ready as per our recent talks a surprise test ride may get arranged in 3rd-4th week of next month.
And no R25 instead R3 is coming.
So all tuning fork fans get ready for get your hands on.
PS: yes you can keep whining about the prices and specs and all stuff, after all everyone is open to their own views. In the meantime we would be busy is getting more information about the bike and launch date.

Re: Yamaha Starts Dealer Training For R25
hope it launches soon,
that's true price depends upon , how it arrives in india.
but for me its out of reach financially as of now if it priced 3.0L , i already made purchase GT250R and sold also . but surely interested if its priced around 2.5L OTR BLR

With proper pricing we are at least sure of getting a premium quality product and durability of bike(personal opinion). Else we would have something like KTM (no offense).Originally posted by Deathmate.Zed View PostPrice badhao toh problem, price ghatao toh problem!

Re: Yamaha Starts Dealer Training For R25
KTMs are manufactured here whereas the R3 will be a CKD in all probability. So quality should be at par with most of the other countries.Originally posted by Akash1991 View PostWith proper pricing we are at least sure of getting a premium quality product and durability of bike(personal opinion). Re: Yamaha Starts Dealer Training For R25
Even KTM's quality should be at par with other countries as the 200s and 390s are sold globally. Everyone has/had the question whether KTM is messing with the quality to keep prices down. I just don't want anything wrong with R3 to keep it's price down as I am planning to get one. Also I won't regret spending as much as ninja 300 for R3.Last edited by Akash1991; 06-30-2015, 08:05 PM.
