Not yet. give me a day or 2. trying to get the info.

The latest update that i had got was the launch of 125 cc bike and a confirmed info saying that MT09 and R(25 or 3) launch in next 4 months. and few more premium higher cc bikes within next 2 years.

As per my guess just like other yamaha launches of r15, this will be sept launch. since it festival times here.

Another 4 months??? the wait is killing me... its not that I am going to book it on the launch day, but then again I would have loved to have that option.

Re: Yamaha Starts Dealer Training For R25

Ok so from import data in Zauba, I am 99.9% sure that it is going to be the R3 that is going to be launched here. Also, it will be a CKD or SKD since parts have been coming in.

The R3 is internally given the Model Code as "2MS2" and its spare parts catalog can be obtained from : Yamaha Motor Canada :: Products :: Motorcycles and Scooters :: Sport :: 2015 YZF-R3

The parts imported into India from Indonesia can be seen here: https://www.zauba.com/import-2ms/hs-...4-hs-code.html'

What made it conclusive was the fact that the R25 (model code 1WD) has no parts from the R3 but the R3 shares many parts with the R25. Hence the presence of '2MS' part codes along with lots of '1WD' parts points conclusively to the R3.

Or maybe I've messed it up?

            ^^^

Zauba isn't a place. It's website that holds information of all the imports & exports from the country. The search & filtration tools are quite helpful at times, given the fact that it's free.

ha ha LOL. more than you i wish that its turns out to be true and if it becomes true then you wont find me in Bangalore i would probably be riding somewhere

Just was talking to saquib (another Xbhpian-YRCian) he and me were saying that the r15 and fz16 were launched at same time, both being different types of bikes. now MT25 coming into the equation the tables might turn. so r25/r3 and mt25 sounds even more sweeter i really wish to see more spy pics yamaha is bloody very secretive :/

2.9 l is too optimistic. especially if its CBU. even if its CKD i dont think it will be less than 3.2L ex Sh. and yes, as told before it might be sept 2015

I think this news is pure speculation since there is not a shred of evidence about this and it says that it comes with ABS which is plain false as R3 has no ABS.

R3 comes with standard ABS in UK. Its in the US it doesnt have ABS

Hi Motorheads! Its been along time for me to check the forums but today was special as I saw two R25's running across NH - 1. They carried temp number plates which were registered under UP16.
I have clicked few pics but none from them are from front, but i can assure you guys that these were indeed R25 or R3 whatever is coming to India and boy they were good.
Posting pics right now for all you to feast your eyes on it.
