re: Honda CBR 650F launch on 4th August. Bookings Open!

Depending on the country, the color choices vary.
US only gets ABS in matte black. STD variant colors are either Red or Blue.
Canada gets only Blue or Silver Metallic
Some European countries get Gloss Black instead of Matte black and some get it in all white.
So far only European countries and Asia gets The tricolor HRC models.

I think if the sales pick up here, next year we might see a bit more localization and new color schemes.

I had sworn never to own a white bike after i won that Apache RTR 2 years ago. Keeping it clean was a PITA. But looking at the all white 650F, i've had a change of heart. Attached are all the color variants available for the bike so far.

I agree. Its even more sexy with the OEM Honda seat cowl. I swore never to own a white vehicle again due to the problems of keeping it clean but now i might wait for the next refreshed colors probably next year and nab the all white one. My biggest headache with the white Apache RTR 180 ABS was taking her out of the service centre after her service during the monsoon and reaching home like i just went through the Dakar rally with it

They will be 'indigenously assembled' eh? Sounds like all CKDs then, as the commuters are 'indigenously manufactured' right?

                      She is one helluva machine...

Yeah, Maintaining the white vehicle as WHITE is a humongous task...Why talk about white, hell I couldnt keep my black CL5 black. It often turns matt brown when I leave it just overnight lying in the parking lot...damn...

saar, fact is white is easiest to maintain than rest of the color & black is hardest to maintain. Check out any white color car from a distance, it will appear clean until you go near it & wonder why it didn't appear dirty in first place.

Also, this link from GaadiWaadi says all of the bikes will be sporty and no commuters will be launched on that day.
Gaadiwaadi also say the 2015 CBR 250R (not 300R) and 150R along with a half/full-faired version of the Unicorn 160 will launch that day.

                            Absolutely agree.
Black - Looks awesome but is a royal P.I.T.A w.r.t cleaning and detailing.
White - Looks awesome almost all the time, even in slush! (Easier to maintain than black, however has a tendency to turn yellowish with age)

That's because of UV radiation from our Good Sun; use polish on metals & plastics & you can certainly prevent this from happening.

Out of curiosity, will we also get to see the CBR300R on August 4th since they are referring to bikes within 125 cc to 650 cc segment that will be revealed.
