I will report back when i hear from him. Not sure what he meant when he said its more than what he expected. I have no clue what his expected pricing was. If he was expecting 6-7 and it came out to be 8, its understandable. But if he was expecting 8 and it came up to be 9-10 then there's no freakin way anybody wouldn't go for a base Daytona or a Z800

EDIT:
As per his inside sources, the INTRODUCTORY PRICE is 8.18 lakhs ex-showroom. We can only confirm at the Launch now. :/

A fellow on that other Bhp website says he went to the Silicon Honda showroom yesterday. They are making seperate display and service areas for the CBR there. There are only 12 dealerships in India for the bike, one per state.
Apparently HMSI hasn't yet decided on the final pricing. However he says the employees at Silicon Honda are talking about it being 7.85 Lakhs OTR Blore.

I think the final price will only be revealed at the launch, whenever it is. For now, its just around 8 either way. Also he says the 5% localization is only the saree guard

I don't think a saree guard will make 5%, i think some electrical components are locally made but let's see what the launch holds for us.

My friends from an auto magazine have got an invite for Honda launch on 10th. Most probably the Cbr650f?!

If that is true, then all CKD superbikes sold in India are with 5 % localization

Okay my expectations hopes have been slightly dashed. I think it will be a 125cc maybe that is being launched on the 10th. Hopefully not, but not very hopeful!!!!

Honda still juggling with the pricing. Delhi showroom isn't taking bookings yet it seems. I think they will use the Street Triple as reference instead of N650. There is a leaked specification comparo posted on that blacklisted site called ********** that shows the brochure targeting N650, Street Triple and Monster795. Its more than likely to sit next to the latter 2 in terms of pricing than the N650 though, extra cylinders and all

I think a few websites are posting random unconfirmed news about this bike to get hits as this is a hot item right now.

I went to the Delhi Wings Dealer, which is a Honda owned showroom. Expected Launch and bookings around 1st week of August.
Only 1 color scheme will be available initially the white with Red and Blue. ABS will be standard.

He said no official update on price. He said around 8 Lakhs On road.

Thats the color I would also love to see it. So Jap machine with the Patriotic American color eh..what an irony. Sounds like Pearl harbour to me

CBR 650f has only single colour tone. blue , black , red. I am yet to see a mix. probably in India they may give striped colour. The logical pricing to be around 7.00 lakhs ex showroom translating to 8.00 lakhs OTR. any thing more than 8.00 lakhs OTR CBR650f will be going like Suzuki Inazuma in the near term. there are a lot of bike launches in the days to come including the KTM adventure litre class can be priced around 8.00 lakhs.

for me - CBR650f ex showroom price - 6.5 lakhs and OTR price 7.5 lakhs. this is a reasonable price compared to competition.
