it could be based on a new 400cc or an upgraded 500cc engine.

i think that the pictures are legit because if you see the latest classic "limited edition that they have recently launched. I guess the use the same paint job n context.

So finally waiting for a scrambler type RE. Knock knock Ducati!

Here it is below. Complete pictures of test mules spied. Looks good. Proper Touring bike. We were expecting other manufacturers to come up with one but RE steals the thunder. If no serious quality issues I could well buy one.

                          re: Royal Enfield Himalayan Unveiled!

With all the pictures floating online, I must appreciate the efforts of RE in taking an initiative towards catering RE lovers. Though results may vary, there'll be bike that is specifically built around the legacy that RE holds in scaling heights.

                            re: Royal Enfield Himalayan Unveiled!

I'm happy what RE is doing. I felt this with the GT Continental, but with the Himalayan I'm more convinced they are trying to do more and different to what have been doing so far.

They are trying to cater to a new crowd which is good. This is going to be an all new motorcycle including the engine, fantastic. It shall be a proper adventure bike made by an Indian company. Looking forward to it.

The bike looks good and very promising. the only thing which remains in question is the engine. Would wait till its revealed to the factual figures and see what can it deliver.
