    I think the RS200 will be a better tourer than this : same fuel tank capacity (does not seem like AS200 has a bigger tank), taller geared, twin projectors for better lighting, abs for tricky situations and a comfortable posture too due to the high-set clip-ons. Only wind blast on the RS may be more as the AS has a higher visor.
    This is just a 200NS with a semifairing and projector strapped on.

        Exactly. It is a 200NS with a semifairing and a projector. Which it why i say a good tourer. Crashing in a place like Spiti with a fully faired motorcycle is far more expensive than on a semi-faired bike, while at the same time being better off from wind blast compared to a naked. So it has the best of both worlds, which makes for a good touring motorcycle.

            The prices announced are introductory prices. Expect the price to be increased as and when sales pick up.

              But Monk bhai, the 200RS is apparently more refined (reviews say so) than the 200NS/(and now 200 AS?) so will help at high-speed cruising on highways.
              The FI will be helpful at higher altitudes (not that pulsars have many issues with high altitudes but still)
              And ground clearance seems to be the same.
              Since it is a Bajaj, even if one crashes it, the repair costs are going to be affordable (unless Bajaj is hiking up the prices on RS200 spares)

              Lastly wind blast should not be an issue at 100 kmph or at least on my old P200 it does not feel like it

                In most bike launches, hardly 2-3 questions are asked by the media. The company honchos wait in hope that someone will ask something!

                We are already 10-12 questions down, and people here are still not done!

                          Lol. By the naming pattern. I find Sports everywhere. Naked SPORTS (200 NS) , Cruising SPORTS (400 CS) , Racing SPORTS (200 RS), Super SPORTS (400 SS) and now Adventure SPORTS (200AS & 150AS). As per bajaj , everybike they launch belongs to SPORTS segment..

                                Sad to see the comments on this thread.

                                Bajaj is the only brand catering to every motorcycle segment with AFFORDABLE motorcycles. You cant expect customised models without a steep increase in prices.

                                YES, they can give you a superb quality, 80BHP, spoke wheel with knobby tyres and 100 litres tank for 10 lacs!! Lets see the keyboard romeos cough up the dough LOL
