Light weight Super Sport? Isn't that enough hints for a 250/350 twin? That's what they call the Ninja 300 and R3 in the world market. A Super Sport not to be confused with the 600cc Supersport.

Given that the company has posted the render on their official page(which i still don't think is the actual concept design but a suggestive render of what to expect), and looking at the relative dimensions of the fork and tyres and the frame design, I think its safe to say its an entry level sport bike. It even matches most of the features Young Magazine mentioned which I've quoted in the first page. USD Forks, LED lights, wavy rotors etc

Doesn't it look very very similar to Ninja H2?

It most likely isn't the actual concept's image. Its a suggestive photo of what to expect from the concept. I don't see why they would spoil a Tokyo Motor Show launch by posting the actual concept model on their website well in advance. Defeats the purpose of the Motor Show launch no?

Looking good, but it still concept bike, final production have slight different.

However I am looking positive on this, if Honda is not looking to bring CBR300R then they have this plan for the future.

My wish -> come with ABS standard or at least optional.

Re: Scoop: Honda CBR 250RR Confirmed

Honda is taking ages to bring the single pot 300r here in India in sub 2 lakhs rs. I wonder what would be the price of this inline 4 and I am definitely sure it wont match the price expectations of the aam junta. Forget it guys it won't make to India unless it is localised heavily, which I dont see:banghead:

H2, KTMs, R3, N300...Its a mix of all. But looks stunning. It says Multi-cylinder. Could it be >2 or =2. Would love to see an I-4 with 17k+ rpm limiter. Will scream to life when thumb-started.

Re: Scoop: Honda CBR 250RR Confirmed

It is pretty much confirmed to be a twin. The confusion arises from 2 reports. Young Machine's original report in January said its a straight-twin engine, while another Honda Indonesia insider in around April this year had leaked that it is a V-twin. Whom to believe is the question but its a 2 cylinder engine nonetheless. Idk why Powerdrift is misleading its followers with the i-4 rumors(already getting sick of my biking group pages spreading that rumor and making people hope for the old inline-4 250s, only to be disappointed in 4 weeks time) when the original leaked magazine itself says its a twin.

An Indonesian Honda insider has leaked more info about Honda Japan wanting to preserve the futuristic styling for the production model. The testing is to commence from February next year and a pre-production model will be produced in July-August period hinting that the final production model will be atleast a year away from now at the earliest

I think he meant about contradictory reports for the engine being a straight-twin (Parallel twin) against a V-twin.

                              Saar!!! google it.

v-twin, the name itself suggest the engine is setup like a V alphabet, take hyosungs and Ducati's L twin which is nothing but a v-twin setup at a different angle.

Straight twins would be parallel engine setup like number 11, examplea ninja 300, 650, yamaha R3.

                              Cheers,
