^ such a treat!!! I wish this was the treatment given to sbk onwers here in India which is meeting the GP blokes and a chance to ride one of a kind machine.

Feel so sorry for buyers in India that even a 250 cc customer get a bad treatment, forget about the goodies.

Don't know for sure. There are 2 models still awaiting release in November. One of them is the X-adv scooter and the other is a mystery. EICMA is next month but there is no word of it appearing there. Maybe first half of 2017 there will be some news. As of now, Honda hasn't mentioned any news of 2017 paint scheme for 300R so there is some glimmer of hope on it being replaced later on.

Btw as stated, Marc Marquez got to ride around with 15 racers at Sentul circuit aboard the all new 2016 CBR150R. Then he got to ride the new 250RR around the same track in front of a few thousand audience who had come to see him. Pedrosa was also scheduled to this event but didn't appear due to his recovery post surgery.
This week Marquez also gets to meet the lucky 100 out of 2000+ 250RR customers who will also get a chance to ride the MotoGP replica i.e, the RC213V-S around Sentul and those customers get to visit the 250RR factory.

Atlast the specs are out.
36.8PS @12,500rpm and torque at 22.5Nm@10,500rpm.
Weighs 168kgs for ABS and 165 for non-abs.
Pretty good. A 300/350 version of this might do the trick for rest of the world.

Yep, leaked specs from the event:

Upon his arrival in Jakarta on Monday evening, Marc attended a dinner with top management from Astra Honda, as well as the major national motorsport media. On Tuesday morning the 23-year-old met a group of around 15 young riders who were students at Astra Honda Racing School Indonesia, and rode a few laps with them at the Sentul Circuit.




In the afternoon Marc returned to action to ride the new Honda CBR250RR, much to the enjoyment of a cheering crowd of enthusiastic supporters.
Afterward, the Repsol Honda rider met with fans during a signing session before rushing to catch a plane to Malaysia, where the track action will resume at Sepang International Circuit on Friday.


Last year Yamaha invited Jorge Lorenzo at Budh International Circuit in Delhi for similar promotional activities, which gained a lot of attraction in India.


Although, MotoGP does not happen in India, markets like India and Indonesia have proved to be extremely vital for the motorcycle companies.

These models generate power Max 28.5 kW (38.7 PS)/12,500 and a maximum torque of up to 23.3 Nm (1.5 kgf. m)/11.000 rpm. #CBR250RRCeremony

& If you compare with Yamaha R25 Power figure

Maximum Power 26.5kW (12,000rpm) Maximum Torque 22.6N.m (10,000rpm)
Honda CBR250RR is ahead in the both terms, power and torque.

Other than power, the bike offers a lot more as well compared to R25 and Ninja 250. But thats not the end of the story, the pricing has been revealed and it ~matches Ninja 20 price in Indonesia .(Both ABS and non-ABS). That could play a big role in its market. But if you ask me, I would take a Yamaha or Kawasaki over a Honda.... in India. But cant hide the fact that this bike looks great. Next upgrades for rivals will surely include some of the equipment's from this one like the USD's. Great going Honda. Just want to see a 300RR/350RR (or whatever it is) in 5 days at EICMA.
