throttle by wire concept comes from fly-by-wire concept used in modern fighter aircraft. the rider/pilot's control inputs are interpreted and suitably modified by an on-board computer to keep the machine within safe limits.Originally posted by Mail2vasant View Post

Update: 250/350RR launch is due by this year end. Pre-production changes are being done as of now and a test mule will be out by August as I've stated in my previous post.
Some Thai websites have leaked what they claim to be is the design of the bike's headlight unit.
This is what the concept showcased:

Spectacular. The only problem is Honda India is not going to launch it here anytime soon. I don't know why they think there still isn't a good enough market for premium quarter litre motorcycles.Every Motorcycle has a tale to be told and there is no greater privilage in the life of a rider than to have truly understood what his Motorcycle stands to tell. Hearing from my Thai sources that Honda Japan would like to keep the bike as close to the concept as possible. Meanwhile Young Machine produces a speculative render of the same, this time incorporating said headlights from the patent leak. Bike should be launched around October/Nov in Thailand.
EDIT: Somewhat of an Update and this image has been floating the Indonesian internet space for a few days. Googled about it, some reports say its an official teaser although many report that it could just be a fan made one. No video found to confirm it so far.

That is the official dealer for Honda in Indonesia where this 250 is being manufactured.
Its not there on their website yet because its not updated like ours I think even though HMSI(Honda2wheelersindia) has listed the Africa Twin under their products category even though the launch is scheduled for June next year.
There is still talk of a 350RR for the non Indonesia/Japanese markets where 250cc displacement cap does not exist.
The Japanese website Young Machine seems to be suggesting a late July debut for this 250RR although everyone else is confident that it will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in October this year just like they did with the concept last year.
