Just cover the tank scoop and visualize the bike in the video. It resembles the RTR 200 at many places. Or may be, its just me. :P

Not 250cc but what i expect from Yamaha is a 200cc Bike which can produce 20-21 bhp power and ABS would be advantage if added
why 200cc because i want FE around 35-40 like RTR is giving.

I am not sure Yamaha will launch 250cc engine with air/oil filter

Air filter or oil filter? Man!! If a bike runs without Air filter in India! I can only imagine all that sand inside the engine!!

It's a 250cc right from the Fazer 250 in Brazil

Motoroid team expects the power figures to be close to 23bhp to 25 bhp? is it possible from a air cooled engine?

Possible? Yes, why not? Probable? Maybe.
A decade old (air cooled, because oil cooling is farce!) P220 makes 21 hp. So a 23ish hp 250cc mill (my assumption) is possible.

Exciting. Would be fun to see, how would Yamaha be able to price it between Fazer Fi & R15. Expect it to cost atleast 5K above NS, RTR's FI versions.

It may be possible but I feel yamaha will focus on fuel efficiency also. I feel yamaha will not extract 21-22 out this engine. It will focus more on torque as you can see most of the street/commuter bikes from yamaha are torquey in nature. We all know existing fz is slower than both gixxer and hornet but it more drivable and it is generating good sales for Yamaha only due to its quality, reliability and good set of features.

Expect 20ps power and power around 1.4-1.5L if we take R15 price as reference. Again yamaha would focus on quality and project that thing only to increase their sales.

my guess is it will be 250 cc, 22 bhp and will undercut r15 on price. 1.1 lac ex showroom. lets see who guesses it correctly.
