If they are selling individual parts, I would be interested in getting the HID alone. If anyone gets any info on the price, please let me know.

r u sayin that even in a stock R15 everything is already maxed out and u have to make some radical changes for the bike to gain power??
so if sumone is a beginner in tuning he should not lay his hands on r15 to learn as everything is already done

The latest cnbc overdrive has the review for the R15 and FZ 16 with kits...i just catched it..fz kit around 20000 and r15 around 50000
...and its for track only not for streets they stressed that point...regarding availability mid july or late as september

And another news, the HID I think isn't coming with the Yamaha racing kit. It was there only on the FZ16 which was kitted, plus looked like a chinese aftermarket lamp to me. Take a look at the bulb's rear here:
I saw someone getting a chinese HID of the same configuration installed on his FZ many days back, H4 type which had a solenoid actuated Hi/Low beam changeability. It looked exactly the same.
The front brake of the r15 is now adjustable with this kit:

@satyenpoojary: I enquired about the Daytona HID kit at my local SVC where they service R1&MT01. They say it will supposedly cost Rs.18000!

Check my previous post here, I posted a picture of the HID which was present on the FZ. It looks like a chinese one only, my guess is that the HID's presence in the race kit is just a rumour. They had 2 bikes, one FZ16 and one R15. The R15 didn't have any HIDs at all, the FZ only had a HID. hey guys.went to the hyderabad auto show today.R15 and FZ16 with the racing kits were on display there.but dint take any pictures as i was too disgusted seeing cars like alto there.so i just had a look at both the bikes.the guy there was saying that it was 25 BHP now and that the whole package was Rs.1,70,000.i dont remember the FZ16 price.i asked him like a thousand times if this was street legal and he said yes it is absolutely street legal.as the bike is only 150 cc.so now i am in a dilemma if they actually are street legal or not?can somebody confirm this.i blog about robotics at http://gaurav-robotics.blogspot.com/Comment

Guys any idea whats the full price of the FZ kit? not one guy has given me proper information. Some say it cost a Lac, some say its 30000, the yamaha guys sai it will cost 40000? can any one please get the info.Comment
