Oh is that so? Thanks brother!Originally posted by Ninja 1 View PostAshutosh

you got my bike. Bajaj jsut called me and told me that my bike is going to some one called Ashutosh Tiwari ( trust that is you) because I changed my color from green to black which is why my booking went from sat to monday

.
You owe me a beer for this
. Will miss taking delivery of my bike as I am out of the country from 11th onwards so some one else will have to collect it for me
. I sure got your bike in that case and yes, we can go for a beer together
. I owe you one. We shall decide on it and plan up. What say?

Two blacks wouldnt look any less greater than green and blackOriginally posted by Sarvajit View PostGo on next weekend-both of you will have your bikes by then. Take pics of the green&black bikes side by side&give us a visual treat also!
No worries mate. You aint going for ever. Let you come back and we can meet up. Also, from my perspective, it was a good move changing the colour from green to black. Black looked more sturdy and solid to me when I saw it in flesh in the showroom last evening.Originally posted by Ninja 1 View Postyup but towards the end of the month as am travelling

This might be a stupid and premature question but can someone give me an idea on how can the agony of going long distance to get the service for the bike be avoided?
I am staying long away from the lone service station Bajaj has designated for Ninja in Pune. If on a saturday I go to the service center in the morning, get back home and then again get to the service station in the late noon or early evening to pick up the bike, it is totally time, effort and money consuming exercise which I think cannot be avoided.
I would be delighted to know if I am wrong in thinking so!! Any inputs?

Take an appointment, stay with your bike&ride it back. You should be done in a matter of less than 2 hours.Originally posted by ashutosh_x View PostThanks bro!!

so that kinda ensures that my bike's the first to get done for the day.
i ride to the service centre... usually reach there at 8:45 am just to be sure that i'm the first to get there...
and i've always waited there... and watched my bike being worked on.
u can insist on watching every phase of your bike being worked on (it's part of the pro-biking commitment).
they usually finish my bike before lunchtime (1 p.m).

Servicing is done in one hour flat while you wait in the lounge. So no question of going to & fro.Originally posted by ashutosh_x View PostThanks bro!!
