Dont want to understand buddy coz u need to grow up kiddo
by the way dont u think if R15 was launched in international market then it might have been used by kids and even ladies wouldn't have touched it

No offence for R-15 owners though

I think our discussion should be constructive and we should appreciate the good things coming our way, if some one can afford to buy Ninja and is happy about it then why should we comment on them, I remmember this also happened when R-15 was launched. We also need to ride both the bike in order to comment on anything. Just opening our mouth and vomiting is not good. Anyways we cant help anyone if he is suffering from verbal diorrhea

i dont know why am i debating further, but a R15 with race kits will not / cannot beat a ninja.

The ninja out of the showroom does a 8 sec 0-100, the R15 with kit does 10 something. It will max out at 145, whereas the ninja can cruise at 140 easy and hit 160 plus.

Whether the ninja comes under the learning segment bikes or not is irrelevant. The learning segment is for licensing rules in europe. it restricts the cc and power of the bike that a person at a certain age can ride.

The pricing is right. maybe 30-40k over what was expected, but still ok. Maybe not for you.

I hope the ninja flops, and you get to gloat.. but not before i get my hands on one. lol!!!

An honest question, did you just buy the R15 ?

Grow up dude
              I concur and corroborate.

Even a race kitted R15 will be no match for the bone stock 250R!
Don't power figures seem to make any sense to you.. its roughly 17bhp (bone stock R15) vs 33bhp (bone stock Ninja 250R)! The race kit of R15 might bump the bhp by about 20-30%..
Or wait, are you talking about any news scoop about some R15 race kit taking the power figures to beyond 30bhp, that only you're aware of?

Please give us all a break! The Ninja is definitely worth its price.. & mind you, its not 'Made In India', so will be dearer than any 200cc or higher bike that any other manufacturer might make in India!!

                Peace!

                • Fanboys and the like bring so much of aggression on a peaceful thread. Both the bikes are segments apart...just because they have a fairing they cannot be compared.
For record...some souped up lower capacity engines can exceed the top speeds set by 400 CC bikes. Does that mean the larger bikes are losers?

                          • thanks guys for clearing it out.

Yamaha is thinking of a 250cc, but its nowhere near the performance of the ninja atm. ( the fazer 250 is 24 odd bhp). And they can price it at 1.7 lakhs or so, but that does not mean it will beat the ninja.

The ninja will sell because its the right kind of sports bike needed for an average person who aspires to own a sports bike, and cannot go the whole 10-12 lakhs for his passion, so would like to make do with this, why , because its affordable, practical, and still is a hoot to ride.

edit - @pravu - all the bikes that you read in my siggy, have been bought by me, myself, or i have paid in return to truly own em myself. And im sure there will be others like me who know the value of funds. Stop flamebaiting.

                            • Theres no match between a Ninja 250 and the rumored/hyped Fazer 250!
Its just like comparing a R1 and MT01..
If comparison is the only task then compare the Fazer250 with Pulsar250 woodi or Ninja 250R Vs a R250..(if ever it gets a launch) That the correct way of comparison.
But finally this thread is meant for a tacheon the Ninja 250..and not for rumors so please stick to the GREEN DEMON!!
