  • Where's Satyen and his famous signature when we need it...?

@ Pravu- man, you've got a very fine way of checking for Ninja fans... That too on a community that's welcomed the Ninja into Indian shores.... A suggestion, check Satyen's signature, it'll give you what you need....
    You get the point?? :D

        Some unasked for advice -
1.grip the petrol tank with your knees and all the pressure on your hands goes away. Try it out and let me know.
        2. You can always move the bike a little forward and backwards to lube the chain.

I think the Ninja's paddock stand is available at Rs.5000, but you would need swingarm spools as well to mount it.
You can try borrowing the paddock stand accessory if any R15 owner has it&check if you can prop up the bike with it-very simple, just align both the rubber bushes exactly under the swingarm on both sides&push downwards, it will lift the bike. Then you can continue with the lubing.
Btw, what kind of chain lube have they prescribed for the bike?
Can we buy the Yamaha R15 paddock stand, if we are not R15 owner?? What will be the price??

Yeah I guess so-it costs Rs.1500. But it is just a hunch-I'm not sure if it will work-you need to try it out, but if it does, it will surely save a lot of money (paddock stand+swingarm spools) for Ninja owners!

              • Then I should get the bike after you get yours. Unless you have opted for black color one. Then the equation might change depending on the color which the PBK recieve.

the probiking showroom in indiranagar is yet to open, once it does bookings will start, and then deliveries will take a couple of weeks.

And how much muck did the rear tyre splash up around the inside and the swingarm/silencer etc??? Would a hugger be better?
                              Hello Buddy,

I didnt see any accumulation of water around the rear light so far. However, if you have someone sitting on pillion seat and you ride through the waterlogged roads, then the pillion rider will have his/her trouser laced with mud. It doesnt splash much a lot on the silencer but does so moderately.

Well, my info remains the same...end of this month or early November is when the showroom opens. I will do a recce this weekend to check out how things are shaping up. As per my last convo with the Bajaj guy, people who are interested are now putting their names down with Khivraj, but as per him those are just queries, and not bookings.
