  • I honestly feel that paying extra money to get faster delivery of Ninja is not possible. Being a flagship product, Bajaj officials will be closely monitoring the bookings, deliveries etc. It is not possible for anyone to to pay extra and get delivery. This is just loose talk which of course is free. If any forum member knows anyone who has actually paid extra and got bike, convey his contact details to other forum members so they can get in touch with him for faster deliveries.

Only chance would be to buy vehicle from someone who had booked before you by paying extra. However, for this bike, this also seems to be a remote possibility.

Out of all the 9 bikes delivered in Pune, I personally know 3 owners. All are 35+ in age, in business and would not part with their bike even at a premium of 1.00L. All bought it to keep it. So I feel the only reason PBK were not forthcoming about booking procedure was to actually look at guys who were serious buyers and not someone who would buy Ninja and put it on sale next day at a higher price.
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

              • Kudos to Kawasaki and Bajaj

The company sold 127 units of Kawasaki Ninja 250R, since it's launch on October 7.

It would be very hard to take the Ninja for a movie and park it in the parking lot and watch the movie in peace. That is where my p220 will come in.
(I have vandalised my own 220 by taking off all the decals, now no one bothers to touch it, I cant do that to my Ninja when I get it)

same plans here too, will use my p220 and Ninja together when the car emi gets over.

Instead of the earlier proposed friday, I am likely to get mine on tuesday (November 10th). He also told me that mine is some kind of an 'intermediate allotment' and he is not sure how and why it has arrived (Funny, isnt it?)

My guess is that it could be a result of some cancellation not only in Pune but may be at some other location which might have brought some bike or bikes in between.

It is good that you directly spoke with the regional manager. The PBK (Pune) guys look and sound more than aloof and unconcerned when they are communicated with. They are too frigid, uptight and not so friendly in Pune. They might not think that but still do give the impression that they are obliging you by selling you the bike.

                            • As per Bajaj in the earlier statement only 60 ( out of which most were used for Displays at Showrooms and testing ) were assembled and now the second lot must be either in transit ( Thailand to Pune ) Or in assembly line. They must have looked at the response and then they must have imported. Hence must be the delay .....

Ashutosh you got my bike. Bajaj jsut called me and told me that my bike is going to some one called Ashutosh Tiwari ( trust that is you) because I changed my color from green to black which is why my booking went from sat to monday.

You owe me a beer for this . Will miss taking delivery of my bike as I am out of the country from 11th onwards so some one else will have to collect it for me
