People sure are making quiet a fuss about analog gauges being old fashioned. Please check some of the latest super sports cars, you'll find them sporting analog gauges. Digital is something new and therefore the excitement. It reminds me of the time when digital watches were first launched. It was simply oooohh! and exclusive. Soon these digital watches were available for some 50 bucks on the street and anyway they can never come close to the snob value of an analog rolex.
Anyway the same excitement with digital gauges will die down in time. I prefer analog for speedo and RPM however I prefer digital for trip-meter etc.
And finally, I hope the ninja costs 3+ L. This way I can continue to ride my new bike with a smile

i might be too late, but here's something from my side.
First of all this thing cannot be compared with any of the Indian bikes even if the top speed difference might be just 10-20 kph for a simple fact I noticed is that it red lines at around 11-12k rpm and goes up to 14-15k rpm so one can just imagine the power delivery compared to our bikes and this is the fact that makes is stand out and the overall product definitely justifies the price (also.... it might be just a tad costlier than in Europe) what more do you expect?? The overall quality I must say was not up to the mark ( read : what we get to see in the r1/blade/busa ) but it surely was one hell of a looker and I am sure when it comes to kicking a** this thing will definitely do that ( well.. no need to tell that
). All in all I know that the price might be more than what we expected but lets face it if I would shell 2.5 lacs for this one then I would definitely stretch my budget to 50-60k as well. And that green pillion seat looks too good. The analog console also looks good, would have been better if it would have been a bit smaller.
Regarding the pricing, same as what niks told. Have 2 pics as well, will post them later.
The bottom line is if you can afford it then go for it.

Nope. This one has 110/70 and 130/70. The FZ tires would a little out of place (100/80 and 140/60). Dang, the bike ain't here and we are talking aftermarket!Originally posted by Aparajith View PostIIRC the sizes are same as the ones on the FZ!! So I guess u have better tires atleast as an after-market...

Ninja warfare begins!
My take is, this bike doesn't make half hearted attempts at looking like a sportsbike. It definitely is big and mean, especially in black. 1400mm wheelbase. It is going to be quite a handful in dense traffic.DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe
