4 valve would only be beneficial if accompanied by a liberal cam also. More than peak power/torque, it would be helpful if it can translate into sustained power band even after peak power attained, i.e., 13.5 bhp @ 9k rpm and 13.1 bhp @ even 10.5k rpm to utilise that high rpm band without any stress on engine, like R-15 which, with 4-valve and 29/59 and 59/29 spec cam, allow the sustained rush till the end.

Love to see a P 180 with 4-valve engine, though.

bajaj should stop production of their most successful bike P150 slowly and remain in P135,180,220.
          great..

clipon, disc break, split sheet, awesome styling, 4 valve.. man!!! they win the race before even launching..
and price is always killer of the competition ..

well.. next logical step.. P250/Avenger250CC, at 85K

How would the bike look with the current rear tyre hugger of P150 ? Instead of removing it, probably will look deadly replacing it with that of P150

                Bike doenst has Rear sets......

The bike doesnt has few qualities to be called as Pulsar....It should have been named as XCD or the Existing XCD should have been upgraded to this.....

I dont find any reason to have Two similar kind of machines in the same platform with only Different Names.....

My thought on this bike :
Although Bajaj have created another spectacular bike(atleast by spec till now), But the Four valves and all other specs doesnot mean to a normal city rider. Apart from Xbhpian's and some indian riders, there are not much rider's who look to the technical specs of the bike they just want the bike because it is selling in numbers and every second person is talking about the bike looks,+Bike is famous amongst teenagers... and most of the indians now too go by Brand like HH,Honda they even donot want to look at bajaj even if they have a good product in their range.

I didnot meant to offend anyone here.

Looks Kewl and the front view especially is macho. The bike's 4 valve engine is supposed to deliver high power but one should also keep in mind that power is inversely proportional to mileage. It will surely be a breeze for speed freaks but only time will tell if the breeze will go the 'wind' way

Also the silencer does not look good at all. Does not ooze class and looks out of place in the overall scheme of things.

I must say a very impressive specs. The rear mudguard and that tiny thingy protruding shyly at the rear mars the otherwise handsome bike. Just because its a 135cc does not merit such a stingy thingy. All in all, I do not feel Bajaj should have include this bike into the folds of Pulsar family. But who knows what's their strategy.

A neat bike, will be a boon in Bangalore's Hectic traffic..
Hmm, 122 kgs kinda compells me to book one, will test ride and book if satisfied, i'm tired riding my 145kgs heavy weight champion (P180) inside the city.
Its gonna take its major share in the college parking i guess as it looks really really funky and its a very tempting package to youngsters
                            Fun Starts at Redline!!!

                              One giant leap for Bajaj!

Neat bike with impressive specs. But that tyre hugger and saari guard spoiled all the show. BTW, Is it suitable for tall riders??
