Interesting. The only word I can find right now. The bike does not look nearly as ugly as in the spy shots. I personally do not like the color Red, however I have to say the LS looks good in red.

Coming to the point, Specs are impressive. 13.5 bhp and 4 valve head. Hum…..
Good move by bajaj. The bike has good presence as it seems from the pics. Nowhere near the stunner but still, it can hold its own. One thing I really loved about the bike is the visual design of the engine. Looks refreshing. The chassis change is very much welcome. If this works, then I urge bajaj to put their future bikes in new frames. The engine itself has to be a screamer as it has a quad core errrrr…… 4 valve head. However just a 4 valve head does not make a powerful bike. The cam overlap must be matched accordingly to create a really powerful engine.

As usual bajaj did excellent job packaging the bike complete with split seats, digi gizmos, leds and clip-ons. (I want those clip-ons on my 220 asap). And yes, the rear number plate hanger. The rear mudguard deserved better attention though. It looks more like an after thought.

Now the big question. Does the bike deserve the Pulsar mantle. Well, Only time and a through road test can tell.

I sincerely hope that the 4 valve head won’t suffer the fate of the Fi tech and we will see more bikes with it.

PS: bajaj, please loose the rear mudguard, looks hedious.

This baby Pulsar is sure a stunner.. uh I mean gorgeous.
P135LS.. will surely severely affect CBF125 sales, if not totally kill it. It's great to see Bajaj, for the first time, spending R&D in detailing minute thing, and for one i'm impressed with engine shell designing, something I would love to have on my P220.

But' the best news, is that Bajaj finally has a 4 Valve mill on the roads, and that surely means the biggies getting the 4Valves soon.. may be in next 2 years.

                            Power of a 150 cc and mileage of 135 ( 68+ ARAI figures -- can expect atleast 55+ ) ,

If the engine n new chassis has been worked out properly ,
Then there will be no competitor to this bike at all .
Mostly all HH bikes , honda bikes , ... atleast for youngsters ,
They are just in the path of a tornado .
But very very good , HH should wake up now .

Any about the small petrol tank , bajaj has portrayed it as a city bike .
Do you cover such distances in the city ? .
                            Considering 50 ( min ... 18 less than ARAI ) figures , n a 7 litre available
350 kms can be covered .
Guess that is enough , yeah certainly not adequate for touring but then this is a CITY BIKE .

And an absolute VFM as usual from bajaj .
And about uncles , what can be said

One thing i am thinking on is will the tank provide proper knee recess ? .
I dont like to tell so but think it wont !! . Just a show thingy

^^^Im sure the tank recess is better than that on the pulsars atleast...See, when the final product hits the streets, everyone seems to feel it's better... Bajaj could surely have done a better job on the rear mudguard front..waiting for a TD of the first 4 valve mill from bajaj...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

                                ^^^ I have my doubts.

Let Bajaj sell this bike for a few years first. All their previous 125 & 135 packages got buried under the soil much faster than we thought. This is irritating to say the least. So many bikes & brands in this segment by Bajaj. Almost like one an year.

I wish at least this one holds on and justifies the Pulsar tag given to it.
