6 gears , Projector headlight (i bet we are not gonna get this from honda or yamaha even though we need this desperatly . why only bajaj listen to us ) , FI , Double disc , Analogue tacho and Digital speedo , Tuble less tyres .
Based on the talk going around that Honda is planning to launch the CBX Twister (most probably), it exactly suits your needs, except projector head lights. They may price it around 1.5L most probably.

sorry created a thread by mistake

      here's the news:

Another good news for the bike enthusiasts in India, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is planning to launch a 250cc motorcycle in India in the next few months.

As per the sources, the R&D work on the bike is complete and the model will come into trial production in the next three months.

The only offering in the 250cc segment currently is Bajaj-Kawasaki Ninja 250R which is far beyond the reach of many of us when it comes to its price. This segment is least exploited in our country and if Honda could price this 250cc bike competitively then this could turn out to be a real delight for the end users as well as the company.

The good news is that the bike is expected to be priced around 1.5 lakh which I think is really competitive for a 250cc bike in India. The bike is expected to be launched around Diwali to make use of the festive season around that time of the year.

The rest of the techincal details for the 250cc bike are not known for now but we will keep our users updated as n when we have it with us.

But this is not all for the bike lovers in our country. If powerful bikes are not your cup of tea then here is what might excite you. Honda is also planning to bring in the upgraded version of their 125cc Shine and 150cc Unicorn before the entry of 250cc bike. This means that the upgraded versions of Shine and Unicorn are expected to arrive much earlier.

Honda also has its 110cc CB Twister ready for the debut which is expected to attract many buyers because of its features.

With bike offerings ranging from 110cc CB twister to a 250cc bike, it looks that Honda is in no mood to let the other bike manufacturers dominate in the country in the year 2010.

it seems unlikely, but if its a very simple machine, aircooled, without FI or anything . . .it is a possibility . . .

And specifically remove comparisons in your mind with the Ninja250r. This bike is being manufactured in India, which is why the cost is lower. And its pretty simple if its a 250cc single cylinder.

Whether its Fi or not, is the question...
              You get the point?? :D

its 100% possible man... even with FI also they can do it and as @svjhonda said don't compare it with a Ninja250R... can compare with a ZMR though...

Dude, it says 'rendering' which means it is just a computer generated image, nothing else!!

The people expected the R15 to be cheaper at the launch,... and now expecting a 250cc from Honda in the lines of the CBR... and that to be within 1.5L ??

please be my guest... but these people should visit

"people who expect a mango at the price of a grape"... lol... whatever... if it is a bike in the lines of the CBR, it has to be a CKD and if so... Price tag will atleast be a minimum of 3L....

Its silly to even think that Honda will debut the CBR 250 in India. Something in the lines of Twister, CB300R, or a 250cc Stunner is still possible.
