I think the R15 is a better match to the 250 cc air cooled honda

I just dont get the fact that why are they wasting money on rnd when they already have a bike..
The vtr 250 is a superb machine with a decent 250 cc vtwin engine...probably better suited for indian needs and killer street fighter looks. Then why are'nt they planning to launch that in India???...If a ninja 250 can sell better than expected then obvsly a vtr250 can too...

^^ yup the VTR 250 sounds good, but i along with majority of riders over here don't want to add 1 more bike in the list of bikes I can't afford....... and that's what probably even Honda understands.

It should not be that costly... Its a naked, its air cooled, not LC like ninja. I think it should not be as costly as the ninja.. maybe something around 2-2.25L

mmmmm...Not to worry, stickering should reach us by 2015 .

But seriously, it should not be difficult for Honda to launch a 250 cc in line with Ninja 250, by this I mean twin cylinder. Problem is how many will actually buy. A lot of praise is not going to make their wallet any fatter. I can praise Ninja all I want, and I do and its there for the taking. There's this small problem.... I can't afford it, and I'm earning more than a couple of million two wheelers customers. I can if I'm hell bent on buying it, but thats but my interpretation on affordability.

At best what we may get is a low tech 250 thumper that is affordable. Oh, they can prove me wrong, but I still won't be able to afford it .

They put a picture like that just to grab eyeballs.
But this took the cake: 'and would have a power of between 135cc and 350cc'.

BTW the thing says 2 bikes. So a Unicorn upgrade (cosmetic again! Based on the 'Sports' concept at AE2010) and the 250 makes it 2 bikes I guess...

@Niks- hey, we're just sitting and speculating! Those aren't the real specs I guess. Although they might well be close enough...!
