Being 135CC an odd figure to define a range, I would say expect a 135CC bike and something on 200+cc segment.
This 135CC could be a low capacity sport bike with higher acceleration figures -- say on the lines of CBR125R

But seriously, it should not be difficult for Honda to launch a 250 cc in line with Ninja 250, by this I mean twin cylinder. Problem is how many will actually buy. A lot of praise is not going to make their wallet any fatter. I can praise Ninja all I want, and I do and its there for the taking. There's this small problem.... I can't afford it, and I'm earning more than a couple of million two wheelers customers. I can if I'm hell bent on buying it, but thats but my interpretation on affordability.

At best what we may get is a low tech 250 thumper that is affordable. Oh, they can prove me wrong, but I still won't be able to afford it .
i agreed with u even i want ninja but it is out of budget bcz for 250cc price is too much just for a half price i can buy a rd.

Dude I have no idea what the price is. The thread said that the pricing of the bike would be about 1.5 lakhs so have tried to guess what the specs of the bike at such a price point could be.

I can understand your impatience as a 250's power and Honda's reliability will make a potent tourer but unfortunately we'll have to wait till Honda launches the bike somewhere at the end of this year (yes we'll have to wait THAT long... :'( ...) Until then keep guessing!

(>>>>Also I'm adding a scan of autocar's dream bike designs in their feb 2010 issue concerning a honda 250.)

In the meantime keep those wheels rollin' !

@SVJ & Binoy: I'm not comparing it to anything, be it the Ninja or HH ZMR, I have my doubts though.

                    New Honda Bike

Today on my way to office in manesar as I turned from the Honda's factory I saw three bikes being ridden the last one was unicorn the middle one being a 100cc(looked like one similar to the splendor) and at the front was a 150-160 cc bike..I couldn't get a pic as i was doing around 110 and those guys seemed like as if they were evading an arrest..But that didn't deter me from having a close look. The 150-160cc bike had a mono shock, naked chain,fz 16 type of headlight, the tank was somewhat similar to the HH hunk apart from that it had a front disc rear drum and the tail light was similar to that of the ninja 250..Well I saw the bike so thought of sharing with you

@Coffin on wheels- I'm approving your thread but merging with the current one as you don't have the pictorial proof to give it new thread ideantity.

One question. How are you so sure that it was a 150-160 and not a 250 being tested? And was it looking something similar to the below one.

                      Or this one

Even the tail lamp is like the one you mentioned and no rear disk.

I saw the engine it didn't look like more than 150-160...inside manesar the roads run 10kms deep and are empty..these guys were revving and racing like anything..the unicorn was the last then there was a gap of 200m and there was the 100cc and after a gap of 200m more was this bike..he was racing and he saw me ,we had a parallel roll on he couldn't just come near me..plus it didnt hav a rear disc

The engine size makes some sense because the form that you have seen will be decoy and nothing else. The final form has to be different. But do check the above image that I had posted. It is a 250cc which doesn't have a rear disk.
